December 20th:

47 1 1

Just four more days until I had to confess to Murdoc...
The party was right around the corner and everyone was coming:
Snoop Dog, Daley, De la Soul, Danger Mouse, Bootie Brown, Grace Jones, D.R.A.M., Andre 3000, James Murphy, my mum, and Murdoc even invited Hannibal, who recently got out of prison.
He was apparently reformed.
Everyone was coming, even Shaun Ryder.

I was looking at a poster for our Humanz album when Noodle skipped in merrily.

"So, four more days... Figured out how you're going to confess to your Senpai yet?" She asked.
I nodded.
"I wrote a song, practiced eht, an' even added a few bells to eht." I said, "I'll sing eht to 'im at midnight at the party."

That day was full of nothing but Christmas preparations.
We all went to the store and bought presents for everyone.
It was... A bit challenging to figure out something they would like, but we figured it out.

I bought Murdoc a special pick for his bass that was made of real diamond. It was in the shape of a skull and had two tiny rubies for eyes.
For Noodle, I bought a new guitar. It was black with Noodle's name written in Japanese on the strap. I put some nice stickers on it until it perfectly fit Noodle's personality.
I bought Russel a new game system- the XBox One. I also bought him about twelve games for it.

I have no idea what the others got me, but I know what I got for Mum.
I bought her an apron with "Best Mum in the World" on it next to a plate of cookies. I also got her a pair of red oven mitts.

When we got home, we had to spend all afternoon wrapping the gifts up.

The day ended sooner than we thought and we wound up staying awake until about 11:59 at night.

I had to force Noodle to go to bed while Russel went up to avoid conversing with Murdoc.

It was just Murdoc and me... All alone... Wrapping presents while watching the movie adaptation of A Christmas Carol.

Murdoc had always reminded me of Ebenezer Scrooge in a way, always having been cranky, greedy, and sour...
I guess over time I've been wearing him down like the Spirits of Christmas Past, Present, and Future...

I hoped he'd become nice and happy in the end, like in A Christmas Carol...
