I decided to go out for a walk and Noodle suggested I take Murdoc with me. At first I said no, but then she said she would make me watch her cat Katsu for a week if I didn't.
So I took Murdoc.
Last time I had any contact with a cat, I gave it a Kinder Egg... It wound up getting sick.
How was I supposed to know you aren't supposed to give animals chocolate?!
Anyway, on our walk, Murdoc and I stumbled upon this cute little park about a mile away from the studio. There was a slide, a swing set, one of those spinning thingies, and a cute little bird bath! It looked nice, so I sat on the swings and watched the birds fly over and clean their feathers. I could've sworn I saw a swallow or two.
"Oi, I thought we were walking?" Murdoc said.
"I fought we could take a rest, Mudz." I replied happily.
He sighed and sat down in the swing to my right.

After a few minutes of silence, he broke it.
"Oi," He said, "Wanna see who can swing highest without getting scared?"
I nodded my head and we began to swing.
Higher and higher we went, until I got scared and stamped my feet on the ground, dragging to a halt.
"Ha ha!" He laughed, "I win!"
I smiled at him.
"Yes, yew did." I said with a lighthearted undertone.
After swinging for a while, we noticed the sun was going down. Murdoc got up to leave, but I grabbed his arm
"I've neva watched the sunset wif anyone befo'e," I said, "I was kinda hopin' we could... Watch it... Togetha?"
He thought for a moment, before sitting back down.
From there, we had a perfect view of the sunset. I leaned against his shoulder and felt a wave of happiness wash through me.

We went home to be lectured by Noodle and Russel like they were our parents or something.
"When you are gone for long periods of time, at least text us to let us know you're okay!" Noodle cried.
"Judgin' by y'all's history of violence towards each other, we were worried that one of y'all snapped!" Russel added, "You need to let us know when y'all are gonna be out for a while."
"Like I said," I grumbled, "We juss loss track a time and didn't fink about textin'."
I went to bed, having a nightmare about losing Murdoc.
