"NO!" Annabeth screamed. Piper and Leo had to hold her back. Percy might die, but even I don't know why. I noticed Will had something in his hands. I walk over to him and he gives me the note. Instantly I reconize Percy's handwriting.

For whoever reads this,

I might be dead because of my choices. Here are my reasons why. Annabeth.

I saw her... Or you... having a makeout session with Jason. I wanted to get you out of my life. You stayed. I know this must be stupid but I have another reason. I didn't want to be a half blood. Life is really hard and I really wanted to end.. but I stayed for Annabeth, for my friends.

Nico I know you would be the only one who can get in my room by shadow-traveling. Please bring me to the infirmiry. I actually don't want to die. Please? Thanks. I fold the piece of paper in my hand. Will comes over to me and hugs me. I let the tears fall out. I noticed that nobody saw the note. I decided to keep it to myself and Will until the time has come. "I did the right thing."
