The snow has melted and the flowers have started to bloom around the woods, giving a feeling of rebirth.I watch from a distance as Seokjin stumbles blindly through the unknown area of the woods.
He looks around as if he's trying to recognize his surroundings but every woods looks the same.
He falls to his knees, his hand gripping his throat, probably experiencing the worst part of his transformation, the thirst.
I approach him soundlessly, his chest heaving as he pants.
"The thirst only lasts a couple of days. If you feed regularly you won't experience it after that."
He turns around quickly, falling back and stumbling away, like he's afraid of me.
"W-W-What happened to me? W-Where am I?" He asks, his voice panicked.
Despite the fear in his eyes he is the most breathtaking vampire I've ever seen.
His eyes blood red and his hair is impossibly dark against his pale skin, his cheeks flushed with the remaining blood running through his veins.
"Seokjin, please understand." I say, stepping towards him as he scrambles to his feet at an unnatural speed. "You'll learn to control your speed."
"W-What did you do to me?" He asks, fear still shaking his voice.
"I understand that everything is still a bit fuzzy right now, but I will explain after you feed." I say, approaching him cautiously.
"F-Feed?" He asks, his hand coming back to his throat as a dreadful expression takes over his features.
"Yes. If you don't soon you're instincts will kick in and you might hurt someone." I say, stopping a few feet away from him. "I'll show you."
"What did you do?" He asks, his voice barely audible over the soft breeze shaking the trees.
I'm confused by his tone and his behavior, I don't understand why he's acting like I didn't save his life.
"Save my life?" He asks, bewildered. "Should I thank you for making me a monster? As if you've done me a favor?"
I'm taken aback for two reasons, one, he's just read my mind, and two, he's angry. "Seokjin~"
"No." He snaps, his breath hitching, still breathing out of habit. "You shouldn't have done this. You should have just let me die, like a normal person!"
I almost flinch at his harsh tone, I was so worried about him leaving me that I didn't think of what he wanted.
"Why does it matter to you?" He asks, stepping forward in anger, his uncontrollable speed causing him to bump into me, my arms wrapping around him reflexively.
He pushes me away, unaware of his own strength as he sends me flying into the tree behind me.
"Did you think doing this to me was a favor? That I'd be grateful to you?" He asks, anger radiating from every word that leaves his mouth.
"I'm sorry." I say as I stand from the ground, dusting the dirt from myself. "I didn't think~"
"You're right. You didn't." He spits. "Why would you think this is what I wanted?"
"I was trying to~"
"Save my life?" He asks incredulously. "Humans die, Yoongi. It's apart of life. It's not something to avoid or try to prevent. It just happens."
