Taehyung dresses slowly, taking all the time he needed to get his mind right before heading over to see Jeongguk for the first time since they've arrived in their new village.

He was feeling too many emotions, even after wanting to see him so bad he kind of felt reluctant now.

He didn't know what he was going to see when he saw him, didn't know who he was going to meet when he met him.

From what Jin had told him, Jeongguk wasn't his Jeongguk anymore.

But even after hearing that he wasn't sure if he could believe it until he saw for himself, he needed to see the change to believe it.

Jeongsan fusses from his crib, making Taehyung walk over and look down at him. "What's wrong, Sanie?

The baby reaches up as he cries but Taehyung just shushed him and rocks his cradle, Jin told him not to hold him too much.

There's a knock on the door that makes Taehyung get all nervous again.

"Come in." He says, turning around to meet Jin as he walked in.

"Are you ready?" The older asks as he enters, followed by Jimin.

    "Yeah. Hey, Jimin." The younger says smiling at his friend.

    "Hey, kitten." Jimin says immediately scooping Jeongsan up into his arms.

Taehyung smiles at the two of them. "Thank you for watching him."

    "You don't have to thank me." The older says kissing the baby's cheek.

    "You do understand that the only reason I agreed to this is because of the meeting, right?" Jin asks getting the younger's attention.

    "Yes. One of the packs wants to meet us or something?" Taehyung asks, letting Jeongsan grip his pointer finger with his small hands.

    "Yes. Come on, I told Namjoon we'd be there soon." The older says. "We'll be back, Jimin."

    "Alright, take your time." Jimin says. "And be careful, please."

After leaving they walk towards Jeongguk's cabin in silence, Taehyung making sure to have a smile on his face he walks down the streets, not wanting the people of the commune to see him in distress.

    "Why are you suppressing your thoughts?" Jin asks as they near the cabin.

    "I don't want to bore you with all the unnecessary things I'm worried about." Taehyung answers honestly.

    "Bore me." The older says, slowing to a medium paced stroll.

    "I just...I know he'll be different, I just don't want him to be gone completely." The younger sighs, his smile faltering. "I don't want to lose him completely."

    "No matter what, there are things you cannot change about a person. Ever." Jin says. "Those things are the things you need to find and take comfort in. He can't be completely different from who you knew before, not completely."

Taehyung nods silently, not trusting his words as they come to a stop in front of the cabin.

    "Just remember what we're here for." Jin says before pushing the door open and letting Taehyung go before him.

    "They're here." He hears Namjoon's voice say once they're inside.

    "Joon?" Jin calls, wanting the other to come walk them in.

Namjoon appears from the back room with a smile. "Hey."

    "Hi." Taehyung smiles as they hug briefly. "It's good to see you."
