Ruins.

The hideout is in ruins.

Causalities are innumerable, wolves and vampires lie lifelessly without names to be put with faces.

It was like being in war all over again for Yoongi and Seokjin.

The battle was sorely won, without Hoseok and the other three vampires Namjoon would have been killed instantly.

Without the help of Hyoyeon, they all would've been killed.

The woman had arrived in the midst of the fight, Namjoon was terribly wounded and the vampires were barely keeping Jeongguk from tearing the other wolf to shreds.

Jeongguk was strong and he showed no signs of getting tired as he snarled and snapped at his attackers.

Had it not been for Hyoyeon coming and so bravely jamming the needle full of wolfsbane into the wolf then he would have killed them all.

Jeongguk didn't stop initially, pouncing on Hyoyeon and almost ripping her head off before Hoseok tackled him off of her.

Jeongguk's body hit the ground with a thud, his recovery not happening as quickly as it usually did.

Hoseok stood back as he watched the wolf struggle to his feet, shifting into his human form.

The younger blinks a few times, looking down at his hands. A dumb look in his eyes almost like a clueless puppy.

He reaches and pulls the needle out of his side, staring down at it as the world fades around him.

He collapses onto the ground, his entire body surrendering to the wolfsbane.

Hoseok shifts into his human form and rushes to his side along with the others.

"What happened? Is he alright?" He asks Hyoyeon frantically.

"It's just wolfsbane." The woman says, removing her riding hoop and laying it over the younger. "He'll wake up in a days time."

"G-Guys." Jin's voice says shakily, making them all look over at him.

"Oh my god." Hoseok says, scrambling over to where Namjoon is laying with his head in Jin's lap, a gaping gash running down his side and across his stomach. "J-Joon. Namjoon~"

"~fine." The older coughs, his breath quivering as if it hurts to breathe.

"H-Hyoyeon. Do something! Please." Hoseok begs the woman. "Heal him."

Hyoyeon assesses the wounds for a moment. "May I have your jacket, Seokjin?"

Jin removes the jacket and hands it over.

"The rest of you should start moving Jeongguk. You don't have much time." The woman says as she tears the fabric of Jin's jacket to start bandaging Namjoon's wounds. "I'll take care of Namjoon."

The rest of them nod before going, Hoseok moving reluctantly as he watches his best friend cough up blood.

"Go, Hoseok." Hyoyeon says. "I've got him."

Hoseok nods, shifting into his wolf before following the other two vampires.

"Should I go with them?" Jin asks as he watches them disappear into the woods with Jeongguk.
