"He's just depressed. Some people get depressed after having children. It's normal."

Seokjin sighs as he takes the baby from Namjoon's arms, carrying him to the cradle they had made just for him.

Taehyung finally gave birth to his child after a long, but yet short, nine months.

A 'beautiful baby boy' as everyone has been saying.

He was beautiful, he was the perfect little thing, indeed he was.

Because the baby was a royal blood he had to be fed human blood but because he was also half werewolf he had to feed naturally from Taehyung.

But it was hard for the baby to feed naturally when Taehyung didn't even want to hold the baby.

    "He won't even hold him, Namjoon." Seokjin sighs. "Or give him a name. I'm worried."

    "He's fine, Jin. He's just in a funk right now, I promise. Okay?" Namjoon says reassuringly. "Hyoyeon said he'd be like this for a little bit. But he'll come out of it."

Seokjin sighs, looking down at the fussy newborn as Namjoon back hugs him and rests his chin in his shoulder.

"Jeongguk?" He asks after a moment.

"He's doing good. A lot better since you saw him last month." Namjoon answers.

"How much is a lot?" Jin asks, turning to face him.

"A lot." The werewolf answers with a chuckle, his arms still around his mate. "Remember how we said we were going to try to let him go through the night unchained?"

"Yes. I didn't like that at all, Namjoon. Anything could have~"

"We went to check on him this morning and he had chained himself up because he got nervous." Namjoon finishes with a smile. "That's great, do you know how great that is?"

"No. But I'm sure you're going to tell me." Jin says before letting him continue.

"He knows his limits. That means the next step is teaching him how to tune that bad voice out and listen to the reasonable one." The younger says, smiling enthusiastically. "It's finally starting to pay off. Soon we'll~"

"I don't want him around Taehyung." Seokjin says snatching Namjoon's thoughts as soon as they come.

"Jin~"

"No. Absolutely not. I don't want to hear anything else about it, Namjoon. I'm serious." Jin says, his tone leaving no room for questions.

"I'm not saying that he'll be ready anytime soon, but when he is, I think it'd be good for him. For both of them." Namjoon says, his smile dropping to a sad one. "I wouldn't put Taehyung in harms way. Not on purpose."

Seokjin sighs, falling silent in thought for a moment. "I want to see him again."

"Okay. We can go now." The younger says. "He's usually awake by now."

Seokjin nods and Namjoon pulls away to take his hand.

After instructing one of the she wolves to look after the baby Namjoon leads Seokjin all the way to the makeshift prison in silence, silently hoping that Jeongguk wasn't having one of his bad days, luckily the good outweighed the bad most of the time.

Hyoyeon is on her way out as they get there.

"How is he?" Namjoon asks, glad that he was able to ask before going in.
