The silence as the four of them embark on the rest of their journey is unsettling, Namjoon walks close to Jeongguk the entire time while Jin and Taehyung stay behind them pulling the horses.

Anything from Jeongguk? Namjoon wonders, knowing Jin was listening in on all three of their thoughts.

I think he's suppressing his thoughts. He's been counting in his head since we left. Jin links back with a little difficulty, he hated the link but it was his only way to communicate with Namjoon silently.

Counting how? Namjoon asks.

Like...a normal person? Jin links making Namjoon look back at him with an obvious expression. He still misses 568, why does he do that?

"How much longer?" Jeongguk asks getting Namjoon's attention.

"I told you this was the longest trek, it'll take about half a days time." The older says.

"12 hours?" The younger asks suddenly stopping and facing Namjoon. "We're going to be out here for 12 hours?"

"We'll stop to rest maybe but other than that yes. Why? What's the matter?" Namjoon asks.

"That's a long time." Jeongguk says distantly before continuing to walk ahead of Namjoon.

"Everything okay?" Taehyung asks Namjoon, him and Jin having stopped as well.

"Yeah. We might set up camp when the sun goes down. Is that alright?" Namjoon asks them.

"Yes. That's fine." Jin answers. "Taehyung has to feed before sundown so we'll stop then."

"Yeah. Can you guys fall back a little so I can talk to him?" Namjoon asks in a bit of a hushed tone.

"Sure." Jin nods with a small smile.

Namjoon smiles back at him before turning and catching up with Jeongguk.

"What's bothering you, Gguks?" He asks once they're side by side.

Jeongguk shakes his head. "Nothing."

"You're lying." Namjoon says, easily hearing the difference in his heart beat.

Jeongguk sighs, looking down and kicking at the ground. "Tonight's the full moon, hyung."

"Jeongguk, we're born wolves. Full moons mean nothing to us." The older says in confusion. "You never mentioned it before."

"That's because before I wasn't trying to control myself like I am now." The younger says lowly. "I haven't had to try this hard since~"

"Only because you're worrying. If you relax you'll be fine." Namjoon says. "You don't have to worry, I'm here. Jin's here."

"Taehyung's here. Did you forget to add him to the list of my potential victims?" Jeongguk says sarcastically.

"Stop saying that. You're just gonna make it worse." The older says, looking behind them to make sure Jin and Taehyung were still following.

"I don't think you understand how bad it already is." Jeongguk says shoving his hands in the pockets of the jacket he was wearing.

"Let me see." Namjoon says looking at him expectantly.

"What?" The younger asks in confusion.

"I can smell the blood." The older says. "Your hands, let me see them."

Jeongguk sighs as he reluctantly pulls his hands from his pockets holding out his bloody palms. "I don't know why I can't put them away."

"Because you're stressing over nothing." Namjoon says looking ahead as they walk. "Try to regulate your heart beat and think of something else."
