i accidentally fell asleep while doing homework. i woke up to my mom knocking on my door.
"jasmine, can i come in?"
"uh yeah. what's up?"
"a boy is here for you."
i got up and walked down the stairs. it was chase. chase was standing in my living room. i was confused and nervous. my stomach was filled with butterflies.
"um. hey?"
"hey jasmine! i came to study with you."
"o-okay. my rooms up here."
he followed behind me and i closed my door behind us. he dropped his backpack on the floor and took out his textbook.
"why the hell are you here?"
"to study." he smiled widely
"you came here for a reason." i sat on my bed and was waiting for an answer.
"okay fine. i think you're really cute and i want to become close with you. you make me feel this type of way and i don't know how to explain it." he sat down next to me. i blushed.
"honestly. i think you're really cute too. and i always get butterflies when i'm around you." i smiled at him and he smiled back. he looked at my lips with starvation written all over his face. he leaned in and kissed me. i kissed back then eventually pulled away.
"let's start off as friends for now." i told him
he nodded and opened up his textbook.

an hour or so later. he left. i couldn't stop thinking about the kiss. he makes me happy even though i just met him today. but he's so genuine. i kept smiling because of how he made me feel. i opened up instagram and saw that chase started following me. i followed him back. he texted me a few minutes later.

i shut off my phone and headed downstairs to grab some food. my mom wasn't home because she went grocery shopping. i wished chase had stayed longer. i really like him.

my mom eventually came home and made dinner. i ate and then went to bed. i woke up in the middle of the night to someone knocking on my window. i turned on my light and looked out. it was payton. i opened my window. he smiled at me.
"uh what the fuck?"
"hello to you too." he laughed
"why are you here?"
"i just wanted to tell you something."
"at 12:47am?"
"sorry." he looked at me and he pulled me onto the roof with him.
"i like you jasmine. you're so pretty and make me happy." i blushed and put my hand on his knee.
"i could tell you liked me. i like you too. you're really nice but let's just be friends." he nodded and started to to get off my roof.
"wait! can you pick me up tomorrow? i wanna hangout with you before school. here's my number" he took the piece of paper.
"will do."
and like that, he was gone.

i woke up at 5:45am and got ready. i wore ripped jeans and a white shirt that said 'fragile'. i threw on my old school vans and went downstairs. i had some cereal and got a text from payton.
pay- wassup! is it okay if chase comes with?
me- sure! when are you going to get me?
pay- almost there
i grabbed my backpack and waited outside. it was 6:20. school started at 7:15. i was scrolling on instagram when i heard a car pull up. i ran down the driveway and jumped into payton's car.
"what's up?" payton asked
"tired."
payton laughed. and chase looked looked at me. i smiled.
"where we going?"
"starbucks." payton answered
we went through the drive thru. we all got the same thing. i thanked payton. we got to school around 7:10 and went inside. payton went to history and chase and i went the same way. class started and i pulled out my textbook and homework.
"did you do the homework, chase?"
"uh. nope."
i laughed. i got up and turned in my homework.
"alright class. we are going to do a worksheet, you can pick your partner."
chase and i looked at each other. he winked. we conjoined our desks so we sat right next to each other.

he squeezed my thigh and i gasped. he smirked and i bit my lip. he rested his hand there. we finished the worksheet and class ended. i was walking out and chase grabbed my waist so we could walk next to each other. i playfully rolled my eyes. i waved bye to him and went into english. there was payton. i sat next to him.
"how are you?" i asked
"good."
"i'm sorry about last night."
"don't worry about it. i know you like chase anyways."
"uh who said that?"
he looked at me.
"it's obvious, jazz."
i got butterflies from thinking about chase and what happened yesterday.
"we still friends?" i asked
"of course, weirdo." payton laughed
class continued and we kept passing notes. class ended and we walked to lunch. chase was already in the cafeteria with anthony, drayke, and others. payton waved at them and sat down. i sat down in the middle of chase and payton.
"aye what's up, jasmine?" anthony asked handing me a chicken nugget.
"hungry." i grabbed the nugget and smiled.
we all talked about what we are doing tomorrow for the weekend. apparently elmo was throwing a huge party tonight.
"wanna come jazz?" chase asked
"sure!" i smiled and continued to take nuggets from anthony.

school ended and we all met up in the parking lot.
"aight let's go home and get ready. i'll pick griffin and noen up around 7:00 to help me set up." elmo addressing to us.
"i'll pick up jasmine, payton, anthony, and drayke around 7:30." chase said.
we all figured out what was going to happen. i followed chase to his car and we drove to draykes house to drop him off. we dropped off anthony then payton. we pulled up to my house and i hugged him.
"bye chase. i'll see you around 7:30."
"actually i'm going to pick you up earlier. i want to hangout with you."
"okay. just text me." i got out and waved goodbye. i walked inside and asked my mom if i could go, she said yes. i ran upstairs to take a shower and get ready. i wore high waisted shorts with fishnet stockings. i wore a red tube top and my black/red flame checkered vans. it was now 6:15. i waited outside for a little until chase pulled up. i jumped into the passenger seat and smiled.
"you look really good, jazz." i blushed.
"same to you, hudson."
we drove until we pulled into a driveway.
"this is my home. i kinda wanna chill here before the party." i nodded and got out. i followed chase into his room and sat on his bed. we talked for a little bit until he started tickling me. he stopped. he was on top of me and he leaned in and kissed me. i kissed back of course and we started making out. we got interrupted by chases phone.

payton was calling. he answered. they talked for a little bit then they hung up.
"okay lets go." chase said. i nodded and we headed out. the car ride was quiet.
"so. do you think this party will be good?" i asked looking at him. he looked at me.
"hopefully. but please stay close to me. there's gonna be a lot of people there."
"okay. will do."
we pulled in front of payton's house and he jumped in. we then went to draykes and anthony's. elmo's house was close so we were almost there. i was nervous for some reason. we pulled in front of elmo's house and we all got out. i stayed close to chase the entire time. it was kind of boring.
"want anything to drink?" chase yelled over the music.
"sure. not a lot though." he gave me a thumbs up and disappeared into the crowd. i felt someone wrap their hand around my arm then pull me upstairs...
