i woke up to chase shaking me lightly.
"wake up, beautiful." he kissed my forehead. i looked up at him and smiled. i checked my phone for the time. it was 6:00. i got up and took a shower and he joined. i wore ripped jeans with fishnets underneath them. i wore a black tank with a jean jacket. i slid on my old school vans. i kissed chase and went downstairs to get food.
"so. are we a thing." chase said sitting down
"if you want us to be."
"i really do wanna make you mine." chase said putting his arms around my waist.
"then let's do it. let's be a couple." i kissed his lips and then sat down. he sat next to me and rested his hand on my thigh.

we got into his car and drove off to school. he parked and i kissed him.
"i like those hickeys." i said laughing
"i like yours too." he winked at me making me bite my lip.
"last night was fun." i said
"it was."
we both got out of the car and headed inside. i entered my math class with chase right behind me. he grabbed my ass. i bit my lip at his actions. we got to partner up again, so we talked instead of doing the worksheet.
"there's a test tomorrow, everyone. please study tonight so you can somewhat pass it." the teacher said. i looked over at chase.
"mine or yours?" i asked
"mine." i nodded and started doing the worksheet.

class ended and chase and i parted ways. i got into english and saw payton. i waved at him and he waved back. we had a test today so we weren't able to pass notes. i caught him staring at me a few times. i rolled my eyes playfully and went back to work.

"so how do you think you did on the test, jazz?" payton asked me
"i could've done better but someone kept distracting me." i smirked at payton and he laughed. we sat down at our table.
"everything good now?" anthony asked
"yes. payton and i had a conversation about everything and now we are better than ever."
"what about you and chase." i got butterflies about thinking about him.
"we are good, too." i shoved my mouth with mashed potatoes. chase came in and sat down right beside me. he winked at me and i smiled.
"do you want to announce that we are a couple?" i whispered to him
"sure. i'll do it." i nodded and he got the boys attention
"okay. so jasmine and i are dating. we figured everything out last night." chase explained
"they probably fucked last night." jaden whispered yelled to anthony. he laughed. i blushed and looked at payton who looked upset.
"you okay, pay?" he nodded and went back to playing with his phone. he was definitely upset.

school ended and i went to chases house to study.
"i'm finna fail this test." i said pulling my textbook out.
"you'll do fine." chase said kissing my cheek.
i started writing notes. chase started kissing my neck.
"not now, chase." i laughed. he continued. i ran my hand through his hair and tugged on it lightly. he pushed me down on the bed so he was on top of me.
"chase. not now." i laughed
"but i like doing this with you."
"later, babe." i pushed him off of me lightly and went back to work.

*knock knock*
chase and i looked at each other and he got up. i followed him. he opened the door. it was drayke.
"yo can i come in? we need to talk." drayke came in. chase furrowed his eyebrows.
"what's up?"
"it's about pay."
chase looked confused and worried.
"he won't talk to anyone. he's never on social media anymore. i think it's because," drayke looked at me.
"because of me?" i asked
drayke nodded.
"well should i go talk to him?"
"yeah. i think you should." drayke said. i texted payton saying that i was coming over.

chase, drayke, and i all pulled up in front of payton's house.
"do you wanna stay in the car? or stay in the living room?" i asked the boys.
"we'll stay here." chase said and leaned in to kiss me, i kissed him. i got out and opened payton's door.
"payton? pay?" i called looking around for him.
"in here." payton was in the bathroom. i opened the door. he had been crying and throwing up.
"what are you doing here, jazz?"
"drayke told me that you weren't feeling the best?"
"why do you care?" payton looked away from me crying.
"uh because you're one of my close friends. now tell me what's on your mind."
"you. you are what's on my mind. you've been on my mind since the party. god. you're all i ever want. i need you. ever since chase told us that you guys were dating, my heart broke." payton explained trying not to cry. i rubbed his back. i felt terrible. it was my fault that i slept with him.
"pay, it's going to be okay. you're my best friend and i love you. i'll spend time with you more. i'll make you feel whole again." i said
"i don't even know why i'm so hooked on you. you're not interested in me and i need to get you off my mind."
"well. do you like anyone else?"
"yeah. this girl named avani. she's in a few of my classes and she's really sweet."
"talk to her, payton. i'm sure she'll like you back, love." i encouraged him. he nodded and hugged me tightly.
"thank you for caring about me, jasmine."
"anytime, payton. i'm going to go now, but you can always text me, okay?"
he nodded and i kissed his forehead. we said our goodbyes and i went outside.

"is everything okay with him?" chase asked. i nodded. he looked at drayke and then drove off. we pulled up to my house.
"shit. i forgot my stuff at your house."
"i'll drop them off, later."
"thank you, babe." i kissed him and got out.
"bye drayke." i waved at him and he did the same. i walked upstairs and fell on my bed. it was 7:00pm. i went downstairs to make food. my mom has been on a business trip for a few days now so i've been lonely. i changed into my pjs and went to bed.

i woke up because i couldn't stop thinking about payton. i texted him.
me- hey pay, you doing okay?
pay- yes. why you awake right now?
me- just couldn't sleep
pay- well i'm finna hit the slump. love you
me- love you too, pay
i turned off my phone and rolled over. i eventually fell asleep again...
