A/N: This story will probably have slower updates than The Three Bannermen since I will have to go to class soon plus work... :( I promise I'll do my best to write as much as possible though! :) Thanks for reading!

"Sorry, Kook...I just had to, I couldn't-"

"I understand why you did it, Tae," the Oak Prince sat down on their shared bed, sighing as the moon slid behind a cloud out the window, "It was scary to see him again-"

"That wasn't him. That was not Jimin," Taehyung grazed a tan hand through his messy blonde hair, face flushed with exasperation, "I--he...I never used to believe in the demonic shit you hear in stories, but that guy was definitely NOT Jimin."

Jungkook nodded half-heartedly, wanting to believe the words coming from his husband's mouth. The blonde seemed to sense the disquiet in his husband's body language, as he stood up off of the bed.

"Kook, don't tell me you...you really think that was him."

When Jungkook didn't respond for some time, the blonde went on, "C'mon, seriously? After three years of being DEAD--GONE FOREVER, STABBED THROUGH THE CHEST...you think that was him?"

The ravenette pursed his lips when Taehyung's voice reached an elevated level. Reaching his hands out to grasp the blonde's, Jungkook cleared his raspy throat.

"I..." Taehyung's eyes bore into his own, forcing the ravenette to look away, "I...don't know. I know that he surely wasn't human--humans don't heal that fast but..."

"But you still think it was him."

Taehyung's grip loosened as a disappointed mask spread over his sleepy features. The ravenette frowned, not knowing what to say to put his husband at ease.

"Tae, please don't be mad at me for thinking this...but yeah, I think it's really him."

Mouth parting slightly at Jungkook's declaration, the blonde's eyebrow popped in a question.

"Why?"

Jungkook glanced out the window again as he thought about his answer. Why did he believe that the white-haired, red-eyed man that had visited them was Park Jimin?"

Because it was him.

No. No, that would be impossible...right?

The Oak Prince thought back to the days when the Stone Prince who he knew as Park Jimin was alive. When all three princes of Noirwood took a stand against the wicked Jihoon.

He thought back to Jimin's sickness, the fits of head pain, the coughing up blood. Then his mind wandered to the gray-haired male's death.

Jimin's funeral, the new appointment of rulers over Noirwood, Jungkook and Taehyung's wedding...

All happened three years ago.

If the white-haired man he saw in the garden earlier really was Jimin, then why didn't he come back sooner? Why wait so long to reveal himself again?

No--no. Jimin was dead...he had to be.

Jungkook's mind fought with the thoughts pounding against his skull ferociously. Taehyung only stared at him, expression unreadable.

The ravenette began to speak, "Someone could have...revived him--"

Taehyung's eyes registered the contradiction he was about to voice. Jungkook cut him off before he could retort something, "And before you tell me I'm wrong--hear me out."

The blonde rolled his eyes at the irony of the statement.

"Ooookkaayyy Kook, I'm all ears," he sneered playfully.
