A stern pair of silver eyes blinked in irritation.

No matter what the others told him, nothing was working. Nothing would come to the front of his mind, to the tips of his fingers. Nothing.

"Nothing?" Taehyung chimed, doing a poor job at hiding his confusion.

Stubborn and wanting to prove himself, Jungkook refused to admit his loss. "Hang on, it's almost...hang on."

Jimin watched the newly-turned demon Oak Prince very carefully, arms crossed. With every move Jungkook made he could feel the others' eyes on him. It aggravated him, their expectancy. More than that, his inability to show them what they most wanted to see.

His power.

Because every demon had a power, right? Every half, full, one quarter, one sixth demon had to do something special...right?!

"Jungkook...we can try another day..."

The ravenette cringed at the sympathetic tone in Jimin's voice. It bugged him, that they were being so soft on him. Never before had he felt so pressured--Noirwood was under attack, the kingdom was losing faith in him, their leader, and now he couldn't even muster anything. He couldn't lean back on his erudite side, couldn't ask for help.

He had to find it himself.

"NO." Jungkook bit his lip for sounding too harsh. "I mean, ugh! No, I have to find this out, right now...Jimin, how did you discover your powers? Tae had a pretty easy time in discovering his, but...how did you come about them?"

"It's...a long story. You forget I had my father there to explain them to me."

On the back lawn of the cabin they were momentarily residing in, Jimin sprawled out on the grass. He pat the spot next to him, motivating the ravenette to join him.

Jungkook moved forward to claim the spot, but Taehyung beat him to it. The blonde plopped down and sighed. He gracefully manuevered to lay his head on Jimin's lap, a smile on his lips. Jungkook groaned.

"Really, Tae. This is serious. Move."

"What's serious?" Taehyung feigned a giddy ignorance, curling his lips down to prevent himself from laughing. Jungkook wasn't in the mood. "I'm just trying to listen to Jimin's story. You're free to join."

Taehyung patted his own lap. He was trying to get Jungkook to lay on him.

So the blonde wanted to play this game.

Jimin tried to steer the conversation back to the story.

"Okay, Taehyung...maybe this isn't the time-"
