"Sir. Sir!"
Jungkook groaned. Dawn greeted him as he peeked his bleary eyes open. It took him a minute to process his surroundings, slowly sitting up on the carriage's top. He rubbed at his eyes, mouth smacking a few times to clear his mouth. Absentmindedly, he scratched at his chin while looking for the person who had woken him.
"Have I been out here all night?"
The ravenette found the young Oak Servant with a groggy smile. He was definitely still a bit tired, but nonetheless rested. His bed for the night parked inside of the Oak Castle walls, Jungkook felt tenfold safer and plenty more at ease. The only thing itching under his skin was the undeniably strong urge to see Jimin and Taehyung.
"Yes, sir, you were unawakenable when the carriage arrived last night." The young servant fidgeted a bit on the ground. Jungkook figured it might have been because he had been absent from the castle for so long and the servants were surprised to see him alive...or simply because he sported bright, silver eyes. "I was asked to wake you by the rather obstinate Mr. Kim."
Crinkling his eyebrows, Jungkook pursed his lips at the bluntness in the man's voice when describing Taehyung. He supposed that everyone in the castle was on edge following the incident, so he let it go.
"Oh, okay. Thank you for informing me-"
"He also told me how much he wants you to kiss me." The servant crossed his arms. He didn't have a single flush of the nervousness he had before, no sign of a blush to his pale face.
Was Jungkook hearing this right?
"You mean..." Jungkook started, hopping off of the carriage. "How much Mr. Kim wants me to kiss him?"
Sidling up to Jungkook, the servant shook his head. His lips turned downwards, sighing as if disappointed. The ravenette held a hand up to stop the servant in his spot; it was too early for fanboys to be coming after him. Usually, he would be more polite, but now he wasn't in the mood.
"No, Taehyung said-"
"Woah there." Jungkook stalked away from the servant who kept pursuing him. "You don't get to call him Taehyung as a servant. Now stop and get away from me before I have you removed from the Oak Staff immediately."
The servant sucked in a sharp breath. Jungkook thought it best to turn a shoulder at the man instead of seeing his reaction. However, when the ravenette turned to head into the castle, the servant followed him, coughing heavily.
"Please--UhhgH!! Forgive me Prince Jeon! Don't misunderstand my HHuuggHH...my affection...Hfufff for...f-for you UhgguGH!"
After a few coughs, Jungkook was just irritated, but the caregiver inside of him made him turn in alarm when he heard the sound of a man falling on the ground. The ravenette rushed up to the fallen man, plenty of questions running through his mind. Was this man sick? Was he an intelligent zombie...or even worse, turning into one?
