Fifty Two: The Library

hello everyone, 

looking back on the beginning of the story/series

i realized i forgot to clarify a lot of things that people might be confused about!

so, to make things brief (if you missed it) here are some things you should know.

-florian is jungkook's cousin, or jihoon's son. jihoon is jungkook's uncle!

-eonjin is taehyung's half-sister--they share the same corrupt father. well, shared. oldie kim is dead now.

-jimin has slept with both kim siblings. jimin was trying to help eonjin get pregnant, at eonjin's request, since florian wasn't giving her a child. eonjin ended up having a stillbirth.

-mr. park killed both taehyung and jungkook's fathers. in the first book, the main characters didn't know this--originally it was thought that taehyung's dad killed mr. park in a duel (when mr. park was trying to escape with the young laurel prince) and that the other two died in strange accidents with outlaws.

-the whole 'stone' aura surrounding the parks was the demonic undertones taking hold on their mortal lives. jimin was not a demon in the first book, but had demon blood in him--that's why he was so naturally talented at killing and fighting.

-jungkook and taehyung's father eventually found out about mr. park's demon roots and plotted to kill him and his son jimin. jungkook's father was otherwise a good man, but he did not like the demon race. (ironic! his son is now a demon!)

-jimin went through a lot after he first became a demon. because he was so confused and torn about his identity, he made a lot of mistakes...killed lots of people for his father. despite him tricking mai, he got two beautiful kids out of it. some stuff that he has done still haunts him.

-jimin purposely sent rose to the oak castle when she was a baby, both to protect her from mr. park and to give his other soulmates a piece of himself. jungkook and taehyung were already looking to adopt, so the beautiful girl with silver hair sent to them was an obvious choice. plus, rose reminded them of jimin :) jimin visited her often, sneaking around the castle without the other two knowing. he checked up on them a lot during those years. jimin kept lucio for himself since mr. park knew he'd gotten someone pregnant.

- rose and lucio are fraternal twins! i mean, obviously, one has reddish hair and the other has silver. lucio takes more after his father. rose is a lot more mannered and calm like mai.

-taehyung initially expressed horrible hatred towards demon jimin because he was afraid. his mental health wasn't the greatest--plus, because of his deafness he had low self-esteem and felt insecure about his marriage. after losing his title as prince and basically being helped out by jungkook all the time, he was unsure what he would do if jungkook suddenly left him for jimin. so, despite loving jimin deep in his heart, he pushed the demon away.

-this is a vminkook book. that doesn't mean all relationships (jikook, vmin, taekook) are going to have the same vibe. they are different couplings. taekook may bicker a lot, yet be more domestic and understand each other better than jikook. vmin may be more inclined to taper down their large personalities to get along better as work partners in crime. as the author i have no bias for any of these relationships, i'm just trying to write the progressions as i see them happening naturally in my mind. if at one portion i see more taekook, i write more taekook. i have nothing against writers who aim to make a perfect triangle, but in reality, to push the plot forward i can't worry myself with making everything equal and balanced.
