Remus

It's hard to concentrate on homework anytime but it becomes even more difficult in the library. You'd think it would become easier but it really doesn't. Why is that? Only because the most perfect person tends to sit near you when doing his homework and you can't help but look at him. Who is it? Remus Lupin of course.

The way his face scrunches when he reaches a puzzling part in his work or the little smirk he gets when he figures it out it just too adorable to handle.

The bells sends the students back to their next class and in a scramble you turn around and bump straight into someone. Sirius black.

"Watch where you're going Booky." Sirius teased.

He always made fun of you for reading or being invested in grades but it's not like it's a bad thing. It's only friendly banter unlike some of the other teasing him and james do.

You laugh at him and shove his shoulder away and without even thinking you automatically start walking to class together.

Now that your in the halls none other than Remus Lupin himself runs up in between you and Sirius panting slightly.

"My god, what is up with the fifth years and standing in lines across the hallways. Do they not realize people want to pass and have places to be?" Mooney sighed.

You and Sirius just laughed at how much of a mom he sounded like when he said that.

"You see, in a moment like that you should have just shoved them. Bet they'd never stand in a line in front of you again!" Sirius jokes, well, hopefully he was joking.

"Yeah right!" Mooney chuckles. His laugh was angelic sounding

"Charms right? Or is it DADA?" Sirius asks.

"Really Pads? We've only been doing this for half a year already." You snark.

"Annnnnnddd? Which one is it?" He says with a cheesy smile.

"It's DADA you baboon." Remus says

You guys walk into DADA and take a seat. Sirius goes and sits with James and you didn't know where Peter was.

"Mind if I sit with you?" You ask mooney.

"Please do, it'd be nice to have a parter who actually knew what they were doing for once." Mooney joked and laughed a bit.

His smile was too contagious you can't help but smile with him.

You sit next to him and pull out your text book. Shortly after, the class begins.

You are trying to find the proper section on the page, using your finger to guide where you are looking but you can't find it.

Remus must have noticed your struggles because he took your hand in his and moved you finger to point at the right section.

You smiled at him in return. He is so sweet, how is this guy single? Probably he's too good for everyone in this school.

A week or two went on like this, friendly banter in classes and at meals you guys would typically sit together. Things might actually be looking up for you.

It was Dinner you one now and you found a group of three boys and a girl. James, Lily, Sirius, and Peter.

It's odd. Remus only ever misses meals due to a full moon but there hasn't been any recent ones.

You sit for a bit and trying and not pry. Maybe he's just having a shower? Maybe someone got some food on him so he went up to change? Oh what the hell, just ask them!
