Tanner Coleman:

Age: 25

Ethnicity: British/Jamaican

Siblings: One younger sister - Nadine Coleman (21)

Appearance: Tall (6 ft 4), dark brown hair faded around the sides with the middle longer and heavily slicked back with gel, chestnut coloured eyes with slight specks of emerald and gold. Sharp, set jaw with the slightest 5 o'clock stubble, well-built but not overly muscular and exotically tanned skin.

Characteristics: Tanner is a reserved and closed off person who doesn't show much emotion. This characteristic is bred from the slight closed off attitude he shows when he is introduced in high school. He has an amazing piano playing ability but pushed it aside to become a successful businessman. Emerald knows him as a very sweet and shy boy, but the real world has changed and hardened him. Now he is a man of authority and strict rules. He comes off as harsh and cold, but he is really just scared of letting people in. He has a strong work ethic and determination is a key part of his character, he will fight for what he wants. A man of little words is a good way to describe him, as he shows more through actions than his words. Inside, he is still the caring and sweet person he was in high school. It's just hidden under all that CEO bravado.

Emerald Chan:

Age: 24 (soon 25)

Ethnicity: Chinese

Siblings: None

Appearance: Short (5 ft 3), straight, long black hair, slight freckles, dark brown, almond shaped eyes. Slightly tan, lean and wears minimal makeup.

Characteristics: Emerald is a real thinker and although she is reserved, she isn't afraid to try new things and adventure out of her comfort zone. As you can tell, she breaks the stereotype of a typical asian girl; she's a fan girl and a photographer. An extremely talented photographer to say the least. She doesn't have the best fashion taste and prefers to wear simple clothes although she owns a lot of chic outfits. She pairs this with minimal makeup. Natural beauty right? Saying this, she's not at all a slob and loves things to be organized and mapped out. She'll put anyone before her and hates hurting people close to her heart. If something infuriates her and she has enough confidence in the situation - she'll speak whatever is on her mind. This can be her downfall, as sometimes she can be incredibly curious and fiery.

Oscar Dayton:

Age: 25

Ethnicity: Australian/Irish

Siblings: Two older brothers and a younger sister (not mentioned in the story)

Appearance: Tall, but not extremely (6 ft), unruly hazel brown curls that are swept to the side of his forehead, blue-grey eyes with a slight crinkle and circular brown glasses that he normally wears apart from in his concerts. Slightly pale skin with freckles and lean but slightly muscular complete his look. His boyish features give him a naturally youthful appearance.

Characteristics: Oscar is an upbeat sort of guy who doesn't let life get under his skin. Although he has a carefree attitude, he cares deeply for those around him. He's constantly singing and writing songs about anything that comes to him. He's a guy very much in touch with his feelings and emotions and strongly believes in love. Although he has a very loving nature that attracts people, he can sometimes be very unreliable and shifty in his decisions. As a singer, he loves the lime-light and getting attention, from everyone; all girls included. This can make him come off as a player, but inside he is not ready to get emotionally attached to anyone, after loving Emerald. His fun spirit and honest nature makes him an all-round great friend to have.
