~~After all this IS a multi fandom 'book' lol. I love such a big variety of shows/movies it could range from Criminal Minds to Marvel to OUAT, to Sabrina..anything goes! Its whatever I'm feeling lol. There will be a few plot changes but for the most part I'm gonna try to stick to the storyline as much as possible~~

Emma placed a plate of breakfast in front of Henry with a smile.

"Thanks mom" he replied happily starting to eat. They were sitting at the island in Marymargret..well Snow's small apartment. It was high time for Emma to get her own place but she just hadn't gotten around to it yet with all the evil and problems popping up. She was so focused on keeping a safe and happy town for Henry to grow up in she'd honestly forgotten about her own self. After all that's what it meant to be a mother and the Savior. She felt guilty enough about missing the first eleven years of her son's life. There was a sudden knock at the door making her jump. Snow, well MaryMargaret arrived from the back room to open the door revealing an ever so dashing Killian Jones. Killian also known as the famous Captian Hook. Emma couldn't even begin to wrap her head around that madness even though she couldn't deny, he was very handsome.

"Swan" he smirked. She rolled her eyes letting him in. She had to admit after the effort he took to find her and Henry in NYC she was developing feelings for the pirate. That scared her more than whatever wicked, fantasy beast that could show up. She didn't want to admit it to herself, let alone Hook.
She'd always had a problem opening up to people. They had been spending a lot of time together though. She did trust him. He had saved her life twice now, once for rescuing her in NY and secondly owing her through the time portal to the Enchanted Forest. She had to admit she wouldn't have survived that trip without him. Everyone was getting back to normal and they had just sent Anna and Elsa back to Arendelle and defeated the Snow Queen. Emma's head was filled with confusion, and loss, and what she really needed to do was relax. She hadn't realized she was staring at him, lost in thought.

"Mom" Henry's voice broke her focus. Snow chuckled and allowed Killian to come in. Henry smirked getting back to eating his breakfast. David came out of the back room dressed and ready for whatever the day had in store for them.

"Hook" he nodded towards him.

"Hey Killian" Emma followed realizing she'd forgotten to greet him. She quickly cleared her throat and continued. "So dad, what's up for today?" David smiled and shrugged.

"Actually nothing has happened today yet. I'm going to do some patrols around town just to make sure but so far it's just a regular day." That made Emma's stomach churn. It was never a normal day in Storybrooke.

"Fabulous. Swan, I was wondering if you'd accompany me on my ship. It's been a while since I was behind the wheel and thought today would be perfect." Killian announced. Emma's face suddenly flushed and she looked at Henry and then her dad. Henry looked like he was interested but not upset. David on the other hand had his stern 'dad face' locked onto Killian's face.

"What a wonderful idea!" MaryMargret chimed in.

"What?" Emma and David said at the same time making Emma mentally slap herself in the forehead.

"We need to embrace each day! It's a beautiful day and I'm sure a ride on the ocean will be nice a relaxing for you. You deserve this." She spoke more towards Emma than David who was still glaring at her. Emma was about to object but Henry chimed in.

"Grandma's right mom, go. You've done so much the past few weeks with Zelena and the Snow Queen. You need a day for you." Emma sighed nodded towards Killian accepting his invitation. It wasn't that Emma didn't want to get close to Killian. In fact they'd gotten close a couple times before, kissing in Neverland, and in front of Granny's after they'd returned from their time travel mishap. She didnt know what it was like to be with him without any danger following. David shook his head giving up.
