Days later, now the last day in Texas for half of a couple, he spent nearly zero moments apart from the girl whom he had quickly fallen for—though spending them apart when possible.

At the moment, the boy was in the room of the Santiago siblings.

"So, Cameron, what do you like about my sister?" Grace asked, curious to hear his answer.

Cameron grinned and said, "She doesn't take shit and can kick your ass but at the same time, is shy and speaks her mind. I love that about her."

Grace sighed in content at the response given. "I swear, you two are so cute. I'm glad she has you in her life."

"Well, as cheesy as this might sound, I'm glad that I have her in mine."

Grace smiled as she opened the bedroom door and the two of them walked into the kitchen for breakfast. Not too long after they ate, Marie and Cameron sat together on the couch in the family room, holding hands as they listened to music.

As night fell, the sun already set and the stars visible, the couple sat on the porch and gazed upward, the stars mesmerizing the two.

"I'm going to miss you when you leave for Canada," Marie spoke up, frown evident.

Cameron smiled softly and took her hand. "I know, and I'm going to miss you, too."

Marie smiled and looked at him, smile intact as she rested her head on his shoulder.

Upon contact, Cameron wrapped an arm around the girl's waist; happiness overflowing within him. A while later, he was called for.

"Cameron!" Rosalinda shouted, "Sweetie, it's time. You have to go to the airport."

Cameron stood, with Marie following suite as he walked in. Once the two walked in, he grabbed his suitcases and headed for the door, opening it. Before he could walk out, Marie touched his wrist.

"Wait." She said.

At Marie's voice, he turned to face her, curious as to what she would do or say.

"I'm really going to miss you, Cam."

Cameron grinned, wrapping his arms around her, then pulled away; but not before kissing her forehead. Then he spoke, "I'm going to miss you, too, sweetheart."

With that, he walked out of the house, toward the car and drove to the airport so that he wouldn't miss his flight.
