By the end of the week and throughout the weekend, invitations for Marie's party were being made. The Santiago household was hustling to get the invitations made and to buy the decorations.

Though weeks away, everyone in the house was aware of their jobs. Rosalinda and Pedro handled the invitations, and the girls handled the purchase of decorations and any last-minute necessary items.

Once assigned a job, they each handled it. Grace and Marie went to various different stores to buy what was needed as their parents worked on making and sending out the invitations.

While out shopping, Grace's phone chimed.

Later on, after buying everything that was needed, Grace and Marie headed home.

"Are you excited for your party, M?" Grace asked, curious to hear her sister's response.

Marie nodded. "I'm just excited to spend time with my family and friends."

Grace smiled to herself, knowing that a very familiar friend of her sister's would be showing up.

Once home, the girls grabbed the invitations and mailed them. After they left the post office, they returned back home and sat on the couch in the family room.

As they sat on the couch, Marie switched on the television and the two watched an assortment of films. While watching Cinderella, Marie unlocked her phone and went to her messages.
