Nearly a week later, with Grace, Marie, and Rosalinda back home, the Santiago family was preparing to go to a family wedding. Once they were ready, they all got in the car and drove to the church. As they walked into the church, they all sat together in a pew and awaited the bride to make her appearance with her father.

Within time, everyone stood as the bride made her appearance, her arm hooked through her father's as the two made their way down the aisle so that she could go to her husband. As soon as she stood at the altar, the priest began to speak, beginning the ceremony. After the 'I do's' were exchanged and the last few bits of the ceremony were finished, everyone drove to the venue where the reception was taking place.

As soon as Pedro, Rosalinda, Grace, and Marie arrived at the venue for the reception, they chose their seats and sat down. As they sat, they spoke animatedly over the wedding that they had just been witness to.

"La boda fue tan hermosa. Estoy muy feliz por Priscilla." Rosalinda spoke, a smile adorning her features.

Pedro blurted, "Wedding of the century for the Santiago family."

Grace and Marie laughed at their father's words as they said in unison, "Her dress was beautiful. She looked like a princess."

Rosalinda grinned at the words of her daughters and said, "Ambos encontraran a sus principes algun dia."

"I think Marie already found her prince." Grace spoke, as she smirked and nudged her sister.

"You mean that actor you two met in Los Angeles?" Pedro asked, his curiosity getting the better of him.

Marie blushed as she looked at Grace from the corner of her eye and said, "Chismosa."

After those words left her lips, something on the table caught her eye. Looking at the table, she saw a folded card with something written on it. Picking it up, she saw that there was a Bible verse written.

[ "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preserves." 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 ]

Upon reading the card and placing it where it was prior to opening, Marie smiled; knowing that her cousin, and husband, would live by the verse.

Later on, when everyone was dancing, Rosalinda, Pedro, Marie, and Grace joined in; Pedro and Rosalinda dancing together, Grace finding a dance partner and Marie's dance partners being some years older or younger than her. She shuffled her feet awkwardly, not feeling entirely comfortable having other members of her family be her dance partners.

She longed to have her dance partner being someone who did not know her as well as her family, someone she would feel comfortable dancing with. Hours later, she left with her parents and Grace to go home.

"I can't believe you got stuck dancing with a mixture of our older and younger cousins." Grace said.

Marie nodded and said nothing, her frown still intact from all of the dancing. With nothing else left to distract her and her thoughts on a certain brunette boy, she decided to text him.

Marie smiled at the back and forth messages; she couldn't believe that he would be willing to help her with her anxiety when dancing with her family. He was a sweetheart, as she'd noticed, but that did not make his gesture any less meaningful to her.

"What's got you all smiley, huh, M?" Grace asked, as she smirked at her younger sister.

Marie, in response, showed her older sister the texts between her and Cameron.

Grace's eyes widened as she spoke, "Jesus, he's a keeper."

"Quien, Cameron? Que hizo?" Rosalinda asked.

Grace nodded and told her mother about the exchange of texts.

Rosalinda spoke again, "Wow. Me gusta el."

"How? You didn't meet him, too, did you, Rosalinda?" Pedro asked, curious to hear the response of his wife.

"No, pero no importa. Si había estado en la boda, el estaba dispuesto a ayudar a Marie y eso me importa mas que si lo conociera o no."

"He cares for you." Grace stated.

Marie snickered, not believing a word. "Sure, I met him and he cared enough to talk to me and even enough to text me but he doesn't...care about me in that way."

Pedro smirked, and spoke, "Marie...I didn't meet him like you and Grace did but I don't know many guys who would be willing to help a girl out like he said he was willing to help you tonight. That right there, him telling you that, says that he cares."

Marie's jaw dropped as she listened to her father's words, in disbelief that Cameron cared about her in any other way than as a fan of his.
