The Sangeet ceremony was arranged at the Maheshwari's house. The decoration had started a day before and now the house stood in full splendor. Lights, coloured curtains, flowers no stone was left unturned to make Sameer and Naina's sangeet memorable.

Agarwals and their guests arrived at the venue. Naina looked no less than Madhuri Dixit in her green and white outfit that was an exact copy of Nisha's from HAHK. Sameer, too, was wearing Salman's outfit from the movie.

Naina had been trying very hard to move on from the fact that she was adopted. She was trying to smile and not be a spoil sport. Her family could see through her facade but didn't tell her so. They were waiting for her to be ready to talk about it and she was waiting for them to speak first.

Munna and Pandit were the ones who welcomed the party with the most enthusiasm and checked if everyone was comfortable.

Preeti was about to ascend the stage when Pandit almost made her jump by whispering, "Acchi lag rahi ho."

"Bachpan se." She said lifting her invisible collars.

Sameer entered with Nanu, like a prince enters with a king.

The night started.

"Na tha koi Raja, na hi thi koi Rani
Fir bhi sabse pyaari hai humein ye kahani."  Preeti started the programme.

"Wo unse anjaan jiye jaa rahe the,
zindagi ki gadi ghaseete jaa rahe the." Pandit said.

"Fir ek din nazar pad hi gayi,
Ladka aur ladki ki baat ban hi gayi." Swati continued.

"Aaj aaye hai hum unhi ki shaan me,
Zara taliyan baja lijiye, mil lijiye mehfil ki jaan se." Munna finished the shayari and the lights on the stage went off and started in a bit when the gathering clapped for Naina's performance.

Na jaane kaha se aayi hai?
Na jaane kaha ko jaayegi?
Deewana kise banayegi ye ladki?

Badi choti hai mulakat
Bade afsos ki hai baat
Kisi ke haath na aayegi ye ladki
Kisi ke haath na aayegi ye ladki

Sameer took the centre stage.

Wo sikander hi doston kehlata hai
Haari baazi ko jeetna jisse aata hai
Niklenge  maidan me jiss din hum jhoom ke dharti dolegi ye kadam chum ke
