I have been dying to write this part since the book started not because I wanted the book to end but because I wanted to say a lot after every chapter.
Here goes,
Those of you who have been reading my works from KRPKAB days they would know that the plot line was usually too larger than life. Simply Rebellious had two words in it's core - Simple and Rebellion
While rebellious come from the Two Shot's title Baaghi, simple was because ... Well the story is simple and trust me writing that didn't make it easy.
To show a normal, slow progression between Samaina was the toughest thing to write. To capture the beauty in simplicity is hard but chapter after chapter your response was my reward. I used to stay really anxious till the reviews came in.
Baaghi was the first pure Samaina work I wrote. It was a two shot and had an open ending. What I didn't expect was the huge response that came after the story. I kept avoiding all the requests to continue it but they kept coming even after a year of publishing it and it was overwhelming to say the least.
I decided to make it into a short story but the plot line took its own sweet time to form in my head and writing it was difficult but I guess that will make Simply Rebellious one of my own favorite and most memorable work.
I believe any life story doesn't stop, it always has room for extension as long as the the breath remains but as SRK from Dear Zindagi says genius is knowing when to stop and I believe a story should come to a halt when the reader is still craving for more.
All tamatar ande and joote are welcome for that.
Lastly (but certainly not the least), I can't even put into words the gratitude I have for all of you. The kind words, the votes, the interactions are precious and that's all I can earn as a writer. I love all of you. I try to reply to everyone but the response was too huge to manage. I tried to incorporate everyone's demand. I am sorry if I've unintentionally hurt someone. I hope I haven't disappointed anyone.
I hope that if you liked my writing style you'll stay with me beyond this book.
Thank you.
It's a small word but means a lot.
Dil le lo. <3
