~PROM DRESS💃
An hour ago nurses came into Kaylee's room and began to decorate it. Kaylee offered to help but they only laughed at politeness and told her that they didnt need her help.
"Hey." Daniel smiled walking into the now decorated room. "You look beautiful."
Kaylee stared down at the orange dress. "You bought it."
"That I did." He chuckled.
"You didn't have to." She laughed, tears in her eyes.
"I wanted to." He shrugged, walking over to her.
"Is it just you boys that are coming?" She asked hopefully.
Daniel laughed. "We invited Christina, Tate, Kay and Bryana."
"Okay, cool." She nodded.

'I walked across an empty land I knew the pathway like the back of my hand I felt the earth beneath my feet Sat by theriverand it made me complete'
Slow dances had begun and Kaylee sat on her hospital bed, playing with her hands.
"Hi." A voice said lowly, appearing in front of her.
'Oh, simple thing, where have you gone? I'm getting old and I need something to rely on So tell me when, you'regonna let me in I'm getting tired andIneedsomewhere to begin'
Kaylee looked up and smiled. "Jack, hi."
He extended his hand out towards her. "Wanna dance?"
He led her to the middle of the room and put his hands around her waist, she putting her hands around his neck.
"I'm sorry." He mumbled. "I was being selfish, not visiting you."
'I came across a fallen tree I felt the branches of it looking at me Is this the place weused to love? Is this place that I've been dreaming of?'
"That's okay." She looked down. "I'm sorry too, for not telling you."
"I'm glad I met you." Jack smiled leaning his head against hers.
"I'm glad I met you too." She cried.
'Oh, simple thing, where have you gone? I'mgetting old and I need something to rely on So tell me when, you're gonna let me in I'm getting tired and I need somewhere to begin
And if you have a minute, why dont we go Talk about it somewhere only we know? This could be the end of everything So why dont we go Somewhere only we know?
"No crying, Love." Jack wiped her tears with his index finger. "This is your prom. Be happy."
"I think I'm gonna miss you the most." She sniffed.
"Well, I hope so." He grinned.
"Jack?" She questioned. "Can I ask you something?"
"Of course." He nodded.
"Can I kiss you?" Kaylee asked.
He leaned in and placed his lips against hers. "Of course."
