"Okay, so I think we've done everything on the list." Daniel smiled, stepping into Kaylee's hospital room.

"I even got to go to a Shawn Mendes concert, kinda." Kaylee nodded. "Since you guys went to the concert and I was just on facetime with Jonah."

"Shh girl, let's not get into the technicalities." Jonah laughed.

"I-is Jack still not coming?" Kaylee asked.

"I don't think so, Lee." Corbyn muttered, not wanting to look at the pain on the girl's face.

"That's okay. But can you tell him how sorry I am. I never meant to hurt him. I didn't even plan to get attached to anyone but you weirdos wouldn't stop talking to me and i fucking fell." She shook her head. "I fell for Jack's stupid, cute face. Corbyn's random facts that no one gives a damn about. Zach's comments about legitimately everything. Daniel's adorable tooth gap and how he makes me smile like all the time. And then I basically inherited Jonah's coffee addiction."

"I'm gonna thank you for everything you just said because you are the sweetest person ever." Zach laughed and cried at the same time.

"And anyway, let's not throw ourselves a pity party." Daniel chuckled. "We have a prom to get ready for."

"I don't feel like partying." Kaylee mumbled, a tear slipping down her face.

"Dont you dare back out of this because of Jack freaking Avery." Corbyn warned her.

"You've been dreaming of this for ages." Jonah smiled.

"I know, I just thought that my prom would be with like a date or something." Kaylee shrugged.

"I'll be your date." Daniel offered.

"Thanks Danny but it's not the same." The pink haired girl smiled softly.

A few seconds later a nurse walked in, going straight over to Kaylee and the machine attached to her bed.

"I'm sorry Miss Edwards but your guests have to leave while I run some tests." The nurse apologised.

"That's okay, Janice." Kaylee nodded.

"We'll see you later." Zach waved.

"Bye." She whispered.

The four boys walked out of the doors and Daniel automatically turned to look at the others, a stern look on his face. "I'm getting Jack to go to this prom if its the last thing I do."
