"Hola, Prom Queen." Jack grinned, kissing Kaylee on the cheek.

The girls face was pale, her eyes bloodshot and she shivered uncontrollably.

"You okay?" He asked, his mood changing dramatically.

"Yeah." She nodded.

"You sure?" Daniel questioned, pulling up a chair.

"Yeah, I'm fine." She murmured.

"Is there anything you want to do today?" Jonah asked.

"Haven't we done everything?" Kaylee frowned.

Zach thought for a moment before smiling. "You didn't try the beef jerkey. You were to scared."

Kaylee smiled back at him. "Lets eat some jerkey then."

"I can't you'd let me put that in my mouth." The pink haired girl said in disgust.

"You wanted to try it." Corbyn shrugged.

"It's disgusting." She rolled her eyes.

It was silent for a moment before the heart rate monitor near the bed began to beep rapidly and Kaylee's body shook violently.

"Kaylee? Kaylee, are you okay?" Jack yelled, hoping the girl could hear him.

Two nurses came running into the room and tried to get the girl stable whilst the five boys watched in horror.

As the nurses were leaving the room, one walked up to the boys a fearful look on her face. "It's time. We'll let you say your goodbyes."

The tears and sadness were not contained and the room was filled with noisy sobs.

"Kaylee?" Daniel called out.

"Y-yeah?" She croaked, her voice like sandpaper against a flat surface.

"I love you, okay. You're my best friend and I'm gonna miss you so much." He sobbed.

"I love you too, Dani. I love all of you." She choked. "Can you do me a favour?"

"Sure." Corbyn replied, his voice hoarse.

"Can you sing to me?" She asked.

Jack took a deep breath before starting the song that matched the mood, perfectly.

Jack wiped the tears from his eyes as Kaylee's heart rate monitor went dead. He still sang, holding her limp hand in his.

Jack sobbed uncontrollably and the others enveloped him into a hug. He pushed his way out of the hug and moved closer to Kaylee's dead body.

He leant over her and placed a kiss on her head. "I love you, Kaylee."
