Jack sat impatiently in their Language Arts class. It has started twenty minutes ago and there was still no sign of the pink haired girl.
"Maybe she's sick." Corbyn told the curly headed boy.
Jack didn't reply, he just stared at the door anxiously.
"Jack, it's fine. Stop being creepy." Jonah, hit him in the chest.

At the end of the school day it started to rain and Jack decided to go to the skate park.
"Where are you going?" Daniel asked as Jack walked the opposite way.
"Skate park." Jack told him.
"It's raining." Daniel pointed out.
"I don't see your point." Jack laughed, continuing to walk away.
When he got to the skate park he saw a girl a little way away dancing in the rain. She was wearing all purple and he smiled finally recognising who it was.
She was wearing a purple 'Girl's Supporting Girls' shirt, a purple patchwork skirt, purple socks, purple FILA's, a long purple trench coat, a purple fedora and the purple glasses.
Jack walked up to her and laughed. "You're dancing with no music?"
"The music's in my head." She smiled tapping her head.
"Ahh!" Jack said, in some sort of understanding.
"I see you and your friends every day staring at my outfits." She raised an eyebrow at him. "I hope that they live up to your expectations."
"They do." Jack laughed. "There's always something to talk about."
"Lucky me." She winked.
"Anyway, why weren't you here this morning?" Jack asked.
"Hmm." She furrowed her eyebrows. "Doctors appointment."
"Oh." Jack mumbled.
"It's fine." She shrugged.
"What's your name anyway?" Jack asked, shifting nervously.
"Kaylee." She smiled, turning to walk away. "Kaylee Edwards."
And with that she walked away, her purple trench coat flaring behind her. Making the puddles on the floor look almost purple. Purple rain.
Jack shook his head laughing, grabbed his skateboard from the floor and headed over to one of the ramps.
