•Stephen's POV•
I went back to the sanctum that night and did some research on Loki's 'symptoms'. (Not in webMD thank you very much)

I didn't find much, but I found something. His 'episodes' of what I think is hallucinations is from PTSD, aka post traumatic stress disorder. From what I could tell, the disorder came from Thanos and the battle of New York. Loki hadn't really elaborated about it, so I was just making an educated guess.
I also think he has a bad case of anxiety and depression, from having a panic attack and crying right before I woke up.

I couldn't explain him falling asleep as easily as he did, though it could just be from getting stabbed or shock.

I went back to the hospital the very next day to see how he was doing.

I walked into the room Loki had been in and the bed was empty.

Loki was gone.

•3rd POV•

Tony landed where Jarvis had said the heat signatures were at.

It was a rural part of New York, it sat atop a large cliff and there had been tall grass growing on it. There was the remains of some sort of building, and near the edge of a cliff was a fallen tree.

And sitting on the fallen tree was exactly the person Tony was looking for.
He was hunched forward and facing away from Tony, his breathing heavy yet slow.

Tony walked towards the figure and powered his glove, holding it toward the figure in a threatening manner.
"Why are you in New York?" Tony asked sternly.

Loki didn't react.
"Answer me!"

Loki still didn't move.

Tony stomped over to face Loki.
He held his glove out, but lowered it from what he saw.

Loki was sitting on the tree, his arm supporting his head up, and his eyes were calmly closed.
Loki was asleep.
"what the-" Tony said to himself.

Tony walked up to Loki, grabbed his shoulder and shook him.
Loki's arm fell and his eyes drearily opened. He weakly mumbled, "Strange?"

Loki looked up at Tony. His eyes widened at the sight, and Loki fell backwards, his legs still hanging onto the tree.
"Stark??" Loki yelled shakily.

Tony raises his glove, his palm glowing blue. "Why are you in New York?" He, again, asked sternly.

Loki started shaking, his face getting pale. He nervously swallowed, "I-I umm, I'm, I was-"
Loki could feel a cry welling up in his throat. Why was he here?

"ANSWER ME!" Tony yelled.

Loki couldn't hold it back any longer. He felt tears falling from his face, and started sobbing.

"I'm s-sorry Stark."
