•Stephen's POV•
Loki was rushed into an ambulance as soon as it got there.
He was loosing blood, and it was hard for him to breath on his own.

And I was loosing my mind.

Loki had been tied down to the gurney once they identified him.
The entire time I was sobbing into my arm. I didn't want to let go of Loki, even though I had to.

I was sitting next to Loki, grabbing hold on his hand. My eyes were red and puffy, but I had calmed myself down at this point.
Loki had a goz pad pressed to his right eye and was wearing a breathing mask.

"Strange?"
I heard a weak whisper that was barely audible through the running of the ambulance.
"Strange I can't move. Why can't I move?"

I looked down at Loki. He wasn't looking at me, he was staring at the ceiling, and it looked like he was fighting to stay awake.
"You're ties down to the bed. Just, stay with me, okay?"

Loki's eyes drooped closed.

•.•.•

Four hours.
That's how long it took.
I was the one who had to tell loki what had happened, since all of the staff was terrified os speaking to him.

Loki didn't take long to wake, as he woke up thirty minutes after being put into his own room.
The staff was kind enough to not put Loki in shackles, but there was still a warning sign out on his door.

"Strange?"
I held Loki's hand in mine.
Loki looked up at me, let out a sigh, and softly smiled.
"How are you feeling?"

Loki hesitated.
"Great." He said sarcastically.
Him and I locked eyes for a second.

"Heh." I laughed awkwardly. "So," I started.
I hesitated.

"So, what happened?"

I looked at Loki and sighed.
"They had to remove your eye."

Loki looked at me, then down at his hands. He lightly touched the pad over his now removed eye.
"Odin." He softly muttered under his breath.

"What?" I asked.

He didn't respond. Loki looked shocked.

•Loki's POV•
So many things flashed through my head.
Odin. The man that lied to me my entire life, the only 'father' I've ever had, and the one to push me to the point of joining Thanos's side, I now share the same injury with.
And what of Thor? Will he make the comparison I did?

Is Thor looking for me?

I tiredly leaned back into my pillow. I closed my eyes and breathed deeply.
Note to self; breathing masks are the most annoying fucking thing ever.

I looked over at Strange. He looked worried.
"I'm lawfey's son."
Strange still looked confused.
"It's a long story."
