•Loki's POV•
"So, your adopted father lied to you your entire life?"

I rubbed my head. "Yes, I guess? It's so complicated."

"Mm." Strange mumbled.

I let out a sigh and closed my eyes. I rubbed my fingers against the breathing mask on my face without even noticing I was.
"So what else?" I said.

Strange looked confused. "What else what?"

"What else is wrong with me, I know it's not just my eye."

Strange sighed. "The shock almost killed you due to you're malnutrition and lack of energy."

I avoided eye contact but I was afraid he already knew.
"Loki I believe you have Anorexia."

He knows.

"No," I said, my voice even weaker than it already was. "It's from the cells." I desperately tried to convince him otherwise but to no prevail.

"The other night," I felt my throat tighten as strange spoke. "When you, vomited-"

"If you're asking if I made myself vomit, no is your answer." I lied, trying to keep myself from sobbing.

We both fell silent. I had just realized how tense I had gotten, and relaxed as much as I physically could.
My eye was stinging like hell, and I had a constant pain in my head, but I still somehow relaxed.
Physically, that is.

There was so much I didn't tell Strange.
Everything that happens after the battle. The pain I went through loosing my mother was indescribable, and I had only just released myself from Thanos's grip through the mind stone.

I heard someone's voice, a woman's, talking about a missing child and I opened my eyes.

A monitor of some kind was showing a woman, with a bright blue background and text flashing at the bottom.
She spoke, "more bad news tonight, the former terrorist Loki Odinson has been found back in New York, but not how you'd think. I'll switch it over to Joe to talk about it. Joe?"
The screen flipped to an image of a man in front of a sign that read 'New York Public Hospital'
"Thank you, Christine. And Loki,
the cause of the devastating events of the battle of New York has been found on 177a Bleecker street in critical condition. He had suffered a blow to the head, resulting in the loss of one of his eyes. Loki was also found to be suffering from malnutrition. While we still are not aware of how he arrived back on earth, we do now know where he is. Back to you, Christine."

I ignored everything else they were saying.
"Strange, was that a broadcast to the public?"

"Yes."

I paused, feeling everything around me get muffled. Fear was the only thing I was feeling.
I felt myself start to shake as my breathing got faster and faster.

Strange gave me a horrified look.
