Chapter 4- A Crack In The Heart

Nico's POV

"Machiko! Too slow! Mizuko! I need to hear your voice! Sachi! You need to show off more energy! Wakako! Try to look more cute. If anything you look like someone who thinks they're better than everyone else. You need to give a look that says 'I love you~' not some blank expression. You're giving me the wrong vibes."

I watched hours upon hours of live performances. I especially enjoyed Koizumi Hana's performances. She was the best of the best at her time and she represented Otonokizaka. Years after her graduation.. Otonokizaka was done in by time. People forget that the best idol was from Otonokizaka.

Now school idols are on the rise again! It's gaining popularity thanks to A-Rise! There has not been any rivalry with A-Rise. No other school idol group has caught wind and eyes. Same with my group. We have not even performed our first live yet.

Soon we are though! Machiko is a graphic designer and she posted up some posters around the school of our up coming live! We have 3-4 weeks to prepare and I think that's more than enough time since we practiced since the beginning of school. Has it already been nearly a month? Time sure flies huh?

"But! I'm so proud of you girls." Since Wakako was the girl closest to me- I just give her a hug. "I'm so proud to see us improving so fast! I'm certain that we can do an amazing performances during the fall open house! Kyaaa~ Mizuko I have to thank you so much!"

"Ehhh?!" Mizuko blushes. God she is so shy, but when she speaks up- she really can get the message and idea across!

"Such a good idea that you proposed a halloween theme song! Who would've known that the open house would be a day before halloween!"

So the first idea we did turned out to be our video intro. We did performed and sing as well! With many camera shots and angles around our local park, shops, and even the beach. Our intro doesn't have that much views besides the viewers from students of Otonokiaka.

It did receive good ratings overall and many students of Otonokizaka praised us. We'd even got a few fans and we did sign some autographs fufufufufu~ They can't resist the cuteness of Nico-nii~ All though.. it's just a few students that watched our videos and 6 or 7 asked for autographs..

There's 640 students enrolled with 230 of them graduating next year. I wonder how many students will apply. I kinda eavesdropped a conversation when the student councils were talking rumours about the school shutting down. Some of the girls were freaking out that next year may be an all time low for the school.

"Something wrong Nico? Wakako asks.

"Oh? Ahh! It's nothing.. It's just.."

"Just?"

"I've just gotten better with.. bottle cap flicking." I give Wakako a smug look. I think it's best if I don't tell these girls about the rumours I heard. It could be.. fake! Who knows! Maybe next year more students will apply!

"What's with that look Nico!"

"Well! Since we're done with practice and I'm sure we are beat tired. How about we call a break?" Sachi proposes an idea. Well I'm the leader, but I don't mind a break. Everyone is tired and so am I.

"Alright girls! Sachi is right, we should all take a break now and.. maybe even call it a day."

"Ehh? Why?" Machiko asks. "I mean.. no need to rush to improve, but I think we can handle a few more sets."

"Hmm. I was just thinking that we should hang out as a group. We can't be a group without calling each other friends, right?" That's the look I want to see from the girls. Their eyes glowing with excitement! "We're a team now! We're Love Heart and Nico-nii thinks that we should all spending time together."
