It was a bright and sunny day in London, England. The Big Ben clock rang out 6 chimes, the time was 6 O clock in the morning. People were busy in the streets going to work, red double decker buses past by, taxi cabs drove through the streets, and normal cars left there homes or flats. In a rather normal sized building, was a recording studio and an apartment flat in one. Inside there lived four men with dark brown hair and short mustaches. One of them wore, clear, round glasses on his long nosed face.
The man wearing the round hippie bifocals woke up on the couch that morning, he had been wearing a soft fleece jacket, colorful bell-bottoms, and black socks. He yawned stretching his arms, he looked over to the clock on the wall near the kitchen, it was now 6:02 AM. he scratched his temple as he got up off the couch and walked over to the first door that was inside of his home. He knocked several times and said,
"Wakey Wakey Eggs and Bakey Carl!"
Inside the bedroom Carl Esquire with slightly longer brown hair and a mustache, woke up immediately, he says, "Eggs and Bacon?!" The man outside the door chuckled, "Sure, whatever you want. Ha ha!" He went to the next door and knocked at it,
"Henryyyyy... who's my short trumpeter? Come on, get up."
Inside the NEXT bedroom Henry Robeson without complaining got out of bed. But he said, "I can get up on my own y'know Phillips!" Jo Jo Phillips himself smiled shaking his head. Then he went on to the last bedroom as he knocked at the door,
"Billy! We've got a record to start today. Unless you want to call if off and do it tomorrow instead..."
The bedroom door opened as a young man with a small nose, hazel eyes, dark brown hair, and a small mustache looked to Jo Jo,
"You think so? I wasn't feeling much to singing today. Besides, one of our neighbors just had a baby born yesterday."
"Was it yesterday? Well, congrats to them!"
The four Sgt pepper men made eggs and bacon that early morning. Carl Esquire was the one to finish eating first, for how hungry he is. Henry, with his big blue eyes and large nose looked out to the window seeing a blackbird fly from a tree. As for Jo Jo and Billy, they read over the daily news in the mornings' paper. One thing that stood out to them the most was an article titled, 'The Music of Britain'. As they read it together it referenced their band; Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
To there surprise, it read that the critics believed that the Sgt pepper band was 'unnatural' or said as that the music would be 'easy to replicate'. Jo Jo read from what the critics said, 'That other bands could make just as good music as the Sgt Pepper's.' After reading a bit more, he grew to disliking it, and he passed it back to Carl Esquire to look at. For what it seemed, it's like the critics we're doubting of there unique-ness and the songs they produced. Maybe they need to come up with new songs to write and sing.
"Y'know it says here that the critics come from the British Government right?" Carl said pointing it out on the newspaper.
"What does the damn government have to bug us about our music for?" Jo Jo said crossing his arms.
"I guess they heard our music too, and they think it's terrible." Carl replied.
"That's there opinion, there basically saying that a six year old can make better music then us." Jo Jo said sarcastically laughing.
"No.....he means another band Phillips. Not a six year old." Billy said rolling his eyes.
"I'm just saying that we should prove these people that they're wrong. We can't have this kind of attention, it'll make us look bad!" He replied adjusting his glasses.
"We'll have to come up with a bunch of new songs. Something fresh and new I'd say. Although my mind is blank for ideas." Billy said scratching his head.
"We've gotta get a roll on to this, we need to go out and find something that reminds us of a song that we can write an play. Otherwise people aren't going to think we're that good anymore." Carl explained.
"Oi, you mean march and patrol the streets?" Henry asked.
"Yeah, something like that. We don't just play music, every once in a while we need to go out and march the streets. Were here for these people, to protect them too y'know. And if we do this, maybe it'll give us ideas on writing fresh an new songs." Carl spoke with his arms folded and his legs crossed on the table.
"Good thinking Esquire! We shall take out swords with us in our sheaths. Fore we'll take advantage on doing something for the people of London. We're not here just to sing under Billy Shears are we?" Jo Jo asked proudly.
"Sure....whatever Phillips..." Billy said rolling his eyes.
"Show a smile Shears! Maybe we'll find some girls that'll like us as well."
"With your face, I can hardly believe you'll find love." Snickered Billy.
"This isn't a competition Shears, I'm just trying to get you too go with us. Now, are you in or out?"
Billy sighed, "Alrigh' I'm in. But I guarantee you that none of us will find a girl. I've been there many times... Not. One. Girl."
"Will you all stop talking about girls? Let's just go already!" Henry Robeson said all the way back where the flat's door was.
The four Sgt Pepper men got dressed into there colorful uniforms. They made sure they had there swords in there sheaths, and they all went out of the recording studio/flat. The busy streets of London had the double decker buses cruising past all the taxi cabs and cars. The Big Ben Clock rang out at 7:30 AM. Soon everyone would be in work at this time. For the four men marching and patrolling, they are to head into some danger that might come out of nowhere...
