The moment I opened my eyes, I saw the Sun looking at me with his morning hazel eyes.
He really wakes me up with his irritating morning light. His bright smile.
"Good morning, Miss Samson." He's sitting in front of me like a kid waiting for his mother to wake up.
"Kanina ka pa gising?" He nodded. "Kanina mo pa 'ko tinititigan?"
"Hehe," mahiya-hiya niyang tawa.
I just ignored him, entered inside the house at padabog na naglakad pababa ng hagdan. I really hate it when someone gazes at me while peacefully sleeping.
I found Rosebell’s food bowl empty, but I can’t find her in this room. Sa terrace na kasi ako natulog eh. Hindi ko tuloy siya nakatabi kagabi.
“Rosebell?”
Wait a minute. “Since when did I have a shower heater?”
Napakamot na lang ako ng ulo.
After my bathroom business, I went out of it. The cold air touching my skin gives me goosebumps.
A smell of something tasty played with my nose, dahilan para kumulo ang tiyan ko. Mukhang nagsisimula na siyang magluto ah.
I cleaned my room for a while. Then, the galaxy painting hanging right in front of me caught my eye. Even though its colors are starting to fade, well, not its beauty.
Napatulala na lang ako matapos madama ang lungkot the moment I remember its story.

FLASHBACK: Third Person's POV
The Creation of Her Galaxy Paintings•
"Tama na po ba 'to, Ma'am?" Porchsia asked her professional guardian, painting on separate canvas with her.
Eva looked at Porchsia's work, then her mind was puzzled.
"May kahulugan ba 'yan?"
"Naisip ko lang po kasi 'yung galaxy. 'Yung universe," Porchsia answered. "Universe is boring kapag plain black lang. Kasi tingin ko, it used to be boring...until God gave this sparkling light."
That explanation gave a line of smile from Eva’s lips.
"Tama nga sila," she stated.
She hugged her daughter, making Porchsia do the same thing. "I’ve been doing this ever since wala pa po akong sariling tirahan.
