I didn't want to bother mum but if she really wanted me to go I had to tell her as soon as possible that I had to be there on Friday. I stopped just in front of my bedroom door, I heard mum and Josh talking downstairs.
"What if she becomes famous and big headed over there, leaves us?" Josh questioned.
"Of course she won't! Don't be like this Josh, it's a huge opportunity for her!" Mum said.
"Okay, but mum..." Josh started.
I opened my door loudly she they all knew I was coming and then walked down the stairs a bit quieter.
"Mum, Josh, we can't go"
They both looked at me upset and worried, both this time.
"It's on Friday" I said.
Mum suddenly rushed upstairs. Me and Josh just looked at each other and laughed a little.
"Then we're leaving tonight" we heard mum shout from upstairs.
I ran straight to my room, packed lots of clothes, makeup and other things I'll need. I couldn't believe I was actually going to be in America by tomorow row... Hopefully.
A small knock to my door made me jump. It was Josh.
"Abbey... Am I coming?" He asked in a small voice.
"Of course you are!" I said
"Cool" he replied then hurried off, probably to pack his things.
