Chapter 6

We all re-met downstairs, exited. I had to tell Chloe, she'd worry if I just left without an explanation.

Hey Chloe, we're leaving to Hollywood, short notice yeah I know but it's really important to me xx - Me

As soon as I pressed send I was ready to leave. Chloe didn't text me back at all that night, she was probably confused and upset. I had to focus on right now though, as hard as it was to not check my phone every 5 seconds, I had to try and concentrate on tonight.

We were all just about ready to go when there was a loud beeping of a car horn from outside.

"I called for a taxi" Mum said when she saw the confused looks on our faces.

We all ran outside to the taxi because it was raining. Now I was getting a little nervous. All of this just didn't feel real, this couldn't be happening! This could be the rest of my future!

Within a few minutes we had reached our nearest airport. I love living in this area because everything you could need is right here and only a few minutes away. Mum payed the taxi driver as me and Josh both ran inside the airport so we didn't get wet. I suddenly remembered being 7 again, me and Josh running into this same airport, exited to be going to our holiday in America, Disneyland.

Mum soon came running in after us. She hurried over to the main desks and began talking to the man behind it. Her head dropped a little as she turned towards us.

"We'll have to wait till morning!" She sighed.

I looked over to the entrance. Through the glass you could see a hotel. Mum saw me looking and nodded.

"We'll spend the night there and come back here in the morning" She said.

We all walked back out of the airport. It would have been horrible returning home after getting so excited about this. At least the rain had stopped a little.
