As soon as I stepped into the hotel I felt the warmth surround me and I suddenly felt extremely tired and like I could fall asleep right there and then.

Once again mum went to the, woman this time, behind the desk to book us into a room. I checked my phone. 9:25 and still no response from Chloe. Frustrated I threw my phone down onto my chair and let out a long sigh.

"She'll answer" Josh said from besides me. I looked up at him and smiled. He can be very comforting at times.

"Come on guys!" Mum said as she walked towards the hotel rooms. We walked along the hallways and stopped at number 23 and entered. The walls were light brown with small patterns on them. The room was actually really big. 3 beds lay against one wall, right in front of a probably 22 inch TV. I opened another door to find a also rather big bathroom. A huge jacuzzi bath filled one side of the room and a toilet and sink in the other half. Everything in the bathroom was white and pristine.

I ran back into the main room and jumped onto the bed nearest the huge window. The view was amazing, streetlights filled the streets as cars whizzed past. Trees blew slightly in the wind as leaves dropped from them.

"I'm going to book us a flight online" Mum said as she pulled out her laptop. I guess they also had free wifi in this hotel. Dream hotel.

Josh turned the TV on and changed it to Spongebob. I may be 16 and he may be 17 but Spongebob is still both of our favourite TV programmes.

I lay down on my bed. A few seconds later I felt myself drifting off to sleep.

BANG BANG BANG.

I shot up in my bed. I looked around the dark room. Was it just a dream? I stood up and felt normal. Everything felt normal. Making myself believe that the banging was just a part of my dream, I walked over the small fridge under the TV. Just before I opened it, I heard a small shuffling noise from behind me. I walked back to the bed and looked under it, I was greeted by another pair of eyes. I jumped up and ran to the door. It was locked. I turned around to get them off the table but it was there...
