[MEANWHILE AT TAEHYUNG]

"So you were saying?" He asked while the birds were pecking on his hand for food.

Luckily their work ended quite early and they decided to stop by the park. The crowds have significantly increased during that day, and children were playing all around the park merrily. They decided that bird feeding is a way to repel their remaining time effectively.

"I was thinking," Jin leaned back on the bench and tilted his head upwards, he brushed off the hair strands covering his face with us fingers.

"I received a message from my old colleague and she just came back from a trip, however she and I were still planning on when to meet, along with the others," he shared.

"That's good that you're able to catch up with them, you must've missed them," Taehyung kept lingering his gaze at the birds.

"Well they were quite a bunch actually, they made my years of studying medicine much more tolerable," he checked his nails then fixed his focus on the hybrid.

"Nice to hear that, Jin," Taehyung still hasn't noticed that in the corner of his eye, Jin was still gazing at him.

"Anyways, there was this patient earlier," he started off.

"Tell me about it," Taehyung was done and he scooted nearer to Jin, his main focus was on him.

"The way he looked at me irked me in a way I haven't felt before—-"

"Love?" Taehyung interrupted.

Jin groaned in disgust, "no, dumbass. It's the feeling of being harassed. He stared at me as if I were his prey, it's infuriating. It goes like this, I was explaining to him about his sickness and he had this smirk on his face that I wanted to slap off right then and there!"

Taehyung suddenly felt weird, moreover a feeling of jealousy, but he didn't dig up on it because Jin didn't even like it anyways.

He put a firm hand on his shoulder and lightly advised, "just don't mind him."

"Whatever, he can choke on his own sick fantasies for all I care," he put his palm on top of Taehyung's hand and knitted a frown on his lips.

"Looks like someone's frowning," Taehyung called out.

He grabbed his chin to make him face him, "come on, put a smile on your face. You look handsome when you smile."

'R-Really?' Jin's heart started beating fast and to say that he was flattered was an understatement.

"Why would you let your day be ruined by that?" Taehyung asked.

"Ruined? Don't jump into conclusions, V. I just shared something that happened to me," he prodded.

"Well, I'm just concerned for you, Jin," Taehyung released his hand from Jin and placed both hands inside of his dark blue denim pockets.

Jin weakly smiled, "thank you, V."

Then he heard the bells chiming, a call that ice cream is being served, for the people, especially for the children who have always looked forward to the treats.

"Well, what do you say, ice cream, you scream," He bursted into laughter for a while then Jin came next.

"Where did you learn that?" He asked.

"I heard it from you before, when we stopped by here, you once treated me to ice cream and you said that," he winked.

"Now it's my turn to treat you," he stood up and offered a hand, extending within Jin's reach.
