CHAPTER 25: ON WATCH

[MEANWHILE AT JUNGKOOK]

He woke up with the sun showering its presence upon his weary face, he groaned and cursed to himself before he jumped out of bed forcefully, a stretch needed to start his day.

His swift glance to his sheer curtained window caused him to have a double take as he saw Taehyung, it turned out that his room had a view of Taehyung's room, which meant that he could watch over him time to time.

He smiled when he saw Taehyung opening the curtain to shower his face with the glistening sun, quickly he knelt down so that he wouldn't be seen.

He peered over from the window and continued to watch him as the man from afar stretched his limbs.

"Good morning, baby," he said.

He chuckled when he saw Taehyung's hair sticking out in different directions and his eyes were half open.

He then saw Jin come into the picture and he whispered, "I wish I was the one you woke up next to."

He then heard his phone buzz so he hastened his movements going to the nightstand and picked it up, with the person in the other line initiating the conversation, "hello, Jungkook?"

He raised an eyebrow as replied, "what, Yoongi?"

He shut his eyes as he was still sleepy, he yawned and rubbed his eyes groggily, Yoongi told him in the phone, "you were lucky that you transferred yesterday, do you know why?"

Jungkook's nose scrunched as he asked, "why?"

"There were a man, or should I say thief who broke into your home last night. Luckily I was there to make sure that your home was secure so I held him captive for you to handle," Yoongi then released an irritated sigh.

"Hold on," Jungkook scratched his head, he just woke up so he would try to process the information given to him, being that said, he added, "so did you get to identify him? Or what clan he's working for?"

Yoongi ought to know the answers, but he himself hadn't found out yet, so returned he,"he is still unconscious, I've beaten him to a pulp as he was trying to escape earlier."

"Dammit," Jungkook cursed under his breath as he gripped on the sheets.

"Where are you now? I'm going there," he paced back and forth in the room, so agitated to beat someone up.

"I'll send you the location," Yoongi then hung up. Soon his phone lit up with a new message and he opened it to check the location, he muttered to himself, "you're so going to be dead."

Hastily, time passed with Jungkook getting dressed and rushing to the door. As he went outside, he saw Taehyung and Jin, with the hybrid cornered on Jin's car whilst his arms draped on the doctor's neck, he stopped for a while and he shook his head, trying to disregard the scene before him. He clicked on his car keys, went in and started driving.

As his wheels are on the road, he remembered what he saw earlier and sped up.

"Fuck the both of you!" He cursed.

He didn't notice that he almost rammed his car into a truck that was blocking his way, he was be able to stop it on time and he sighed exasperatedly.

Beep!

Repeatedly he smashed his palm on the car horn for the truck to move.

"Fucking move will you," said he.

He was about to get down and beat whoever's driving with his temper but he decided that he didn't want to waste any energy as there were people who were worth beating ; the thieves.
