[MEANWHILE AT TAEHYUNG]

He backed up to make it even harder for him, just as he distanced himself he brought the mixture to his lips, but instead of the mixture meeting Taehyung's lips...

It's Jin's lips.

He kissed the younger to make him stop, well he didn't know what he had in mind when he did that.

Jin pulled away and didn't even bother to look at Taehyung, he just focused on the floor.

He touched his lips with the tips of his fingers, and blushing was an understatement for the doctor.

Taehyung himself was taken aback at his actions, he just fell silent, not uttering a word, he had mixed thoughts, he felt like this was his first kiss but it wasn't. Could it be deja vu?

Jin took the spoon from him and he bend over the table, fingers tapping on the counter irrationally.

After a solid five minutes, he broke the silence between them, with these lines, "I'm sorry, okay? Forget it."

Taehyung's hand was about to lunge at the food until Jin swatted his hand away, "I'll have to let it cool down first, I once dived right in the moment they leave the oven, it did not end well for me."

"Why, what happened?" Intrigued he was, he straightened his back and waited for his answer.

"It burned my tongue," he clarified.

Taehyung sharply whistled and leaned his back against the marble counter, "I've been waiting for these cookies."

Jin pinched his cheeks, "just wait for a little, they're still hot, just like me." He winked.

Taehyung scrunched his nose and shoved him, Jin pretended to be hurt as he caressed his own arm, "what did you do that for?"

"You're so corny," he rolled his eyes, but eventually snickered. He covered his mouth as he giggled, it was Jin's turn to look at him weirdly,
