[MEANWHILE AT TAEHYUNG]

He forced himself to be quiet.

He formed a strict line on his lips as he stared at Jungkook, who intensely looked back at him. It was an awkward silence until Jungkook penetrated through the silence with a meek, "hi." He extended a hand and he added, "nice to meet you, V."

Taehyung gritted his teeth and clenched his jaw, but eventually he faked a smile and took Jungkook's hand to shake it.

Those few seconds of the touch of his hand felt such immense happiness for Jungkook, being able to feel his touch again. But unfortunately he didn't want to let go, he gripped on the hand a little tighter.

That was until Taehyung removed his hand from his and put them inside the pocket of his white shorts, as if he were disgusted.

Taehyung spun his heel to turn away from him and he thought,

'How unlucky of me to be his neighbor,'  Taehyung rolled his eyes as he walked, but he was grabbed by Jin on the wrist.

"There's no time to be rude you know," Jin said.

Taehyung was about to talk back until Jin shot him a pleading glance, which made him land his wary gaze at Jungkook and he choked his words back to prevent himself from being rude.

Jungkook gave a toothy grin and insisted, "it's okay Jin, I guess he's really just a shy person."

The corner of his lips tugged into a small smile, and that's all what Jungkook ever needed.

"Jungkook, we'll be having dinner soon, care to accompany us for a warm welcome?" Jin invited.

Jungkook then glanced at Taehyung and he smiled up to his eyes, answered he, "I'd love to have dinner with you and e̶s̶p̶e̶c̶i̶a̶l̶l̶y̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶,̶ Taehyung."

Taehyung frowned at the idea of having Jungkook at dinner, so he just scoffed lowly and excused himself to the both of them.

[MEANWHILE AT JUNGKOOK]

He choked back his tears, he didn't want to cry, that was until Jin patted him in the back, "are you okay?"

He felt his eyes gloss up and he faked a laugh, "of course I am okay. Why would you think otherwise?"

Jin shrugged off the feeling of uncertainty so returned he, "if you say so."

"Listen, I just need some time alone, alright? I'll go back home to fix my stuff," he excused himself.

"Sure thing, just call me if ever you need anything," Jin assured.

He waved before he went out of the door with heavy breathing, trying to stop his tears from streaming.

He furiously wiped the tears that came out of his eyes, this hurt even more than finding out he passed away. It may be cruel of him to think that he's better off dead than being with another man but that's what he had in mind, at least anyone wouldn't have a chance to be loved by him.

Be loved by him...

Was just the best feeling that he ever experienced.

He opened the door to his free home and plopped on the couch, he saw that there are luggages set on the floor, as instructed by him to Yoongi and the rest.

He settled a deal to himself, once he gets Taehyung back they'll move in to his original home again, surely he gained a little confidence that he'll go back to him, even if the chances have lessened.

He dragged the bags near him and just as he unzipped the bag, he heard a doorbell ringing the whole house, he cocked his head to side wondering who may that be, he stood on his foot and moved himself going to the front door.
