Alec couldn't stop crying, once he started. He felt Magnus' arms around him, and his mind was screaming it was wrong, they couldn't be like that, they were two boys, it was forbidden.

One homosexual, and the other bisexual, for what Alec had heard, years ago, two boys, one Shadowhunter and the other Downworlder, it was the most wrong thing in the Shadow World.

When Alec remembered that, he took his arms off the Warlock and laid down on the sofa, turning so he wouldn't be facing the Warlock.

Magnus suddenly felt Alec pulling off him and laying down on the sofa, before turning his back to him.

He heard the Shadowhunter still crying, and he saw Alec's shoulders shaking, because of the sobbing and crying.

"Alexander..." Magnus muttered, a bit disappointed, because he really had thought Alec was trusting him enough, to let him help with whatever was happening to Alec, and surprised, for Alec's move.

Alec didn't say nothing, only continued crying.

"Alexander... What have I done wrong?"

The Shadowhunter remained like that.

Magnus got up from the floor and sat down beside Alec, on the sofa; he put his hand on Alec's shoulder, which made Alec immediately flinch, and move, so the brown-eyed boy wouldn't be touching him anymore.

"D-do-don't touch m-me!" Alec said, between sobs. He pressed himself onto the sofa's pillow, and cried harder there.

Magnus didn't want Alec to end in another panic attack, so he did as Alec said.

"Alexander... What are you afraid of? I'm not going to hurt you... I've already given you your bow," The Warlock looked at where the bow was, between them both. "So it would be pretty stupid if I tried to attack you, now that you have your weapon... No?"

He was expecting Alec to calm down, but, one more time, he was wrong.

"Ma-may-maybe y-y-yo-you a-... Are j-ju-just try-trying t-to t-trick m-me... Be-belie-ve me-e... Y-yo-u wouldn't be-be t-the fi-first o-o-one... Who... Who-..."

Alec began sobbing harder.

A few minutes of silence; none of them knew what to say, and Alec continued crying.

"Alexander... Are you really afraid of me?" Finally Magnus whispered.

Alec was afraid of everyone, after all he had gone through, but he knew he had to say no, otherwise the Warlock maybe punished him.

"I-I... I d-do-don't k-know..." Alec's voice broke, and he began letting small sobs out.

"Then, why don't you let me help you?" Asked Magnus, softly, putting a hand on Alec's arm.

To Magnus' surprise, Alec didn't take his hand off him.

Alec sobbed a bit, and sniffed, after answering.

"You-you'll hu-hurt... m-me-me..." Alec began crying again; the pillow where he was hiding his face against was wet.

He thought Magnus was very disappointed with him.

Shadowhunters were always the strongest, the bravest, always fearless, never breaking down, and the only thing the Warlock had seen from Alec were cries, desperation, sobs and everything but what a Shadowhunter would be or show; Alec had shown Magnus his weakness: his past.

Now the Warlock could use that for his benefits, while he ended up hurt, at least, for the hundredth time, in his life.

Magnus really seemed to be a good guy, but Alec just couldn't trust anyone, after all that had happened to him, just for trusting people who looked nice.
