The evil twin

Chapter 6

"Well..well..well..what are you doing here?" Lewis narrowed his eyes as if he was surprised but Dan knew that Lewis wasn't surprise, not even in the slightest.

Dan put his hand beside his jeans where he always kept his sword but nothing was there, crap! Lewis must have took it away. He looked back at Liz and Landon who also did not have any weapons.

"You looking for this?" Lewis smiled a menacing smile, holding a few weapons in his hands. Dan was furious and he ran to Lewis and tried to grab hold of one of the swords in his hands but Lewis was too fast, he dodged and did a backflip and landed perfectly on his feet a few feets behind Dan. Dan heard someone call his name and be turned back in the nick of time to see a sword flying his way, he caught it but almost fall back down.

"What on earth?.." Dan muttered but he saw Chandler grinning at him, Dam rolled his eyes and turned back to face Lewis.

"Hey..take this, it will help.." Liz heard someone telling her, she look up to see Chandler handing her a sword, that sword is quite different from their usual one that they use. This sword has sparkling things on it unlike their usual dull sword.

Dan swung his sword at Lewis and for once, he did not dodge. He managed to scramble back in the nick of time and said panicking, "Where did you get that?"

Dan did not answer but only swinging his sword down for a second time, but when he was swinging his sword down, he was swinging in the air. Lewis has disappeared leaving only white mist of smoke to show that he was here. By that time, Landon, Liz and Chandler are beside him each holding a sword.

"What? Where is he? Whoa.." Chandler's eyes widened as he look at the sword that he gave Dan. The sword was glowing and it is sparking.

Liz looks a bit stunned and was speechless but Landon was beside Dan almost screaming at Dan, "What the hell? What on earth happened?"He hesitated and took a step back looking a bit unsure, "Who are you?"

"Huh?" Dan was confused, "What are you taking about? I am Dan..your best friend.."

Chandler cut him off with a grunt and said, "Can we go now?" Wow..Chandler must be waiting to get out of this place like crazy.

Dan stopped and nodded and followed after Chandler who was already running off towards another door that is painted black. Landon was not sure if he should follow Dan who had fought him last time but Liz decided for him when she ran off after Dan.

Finally, Dan saw a door that looks like the door he came in from, the door they needed to escape. Chandler stopped short when he was just outside the door.

"Ouch..." Dan bumped into Chandler as he had no time to stop. Dan peered over Chandler and recognised two figures walking towards them chatting and laughing. They suddenly stopped when they were miles away from them before running towards them.

"What? Who is that? Are those?.." Dan was a bit confused and left his question unfinished as he had a horrible thought.

"Zach and Nate," Chandler answered Dan's unasked question. By this time, both Liz and Landon had came behind them and struggled to see why they had stop.

"Nate can see things that are a few kilometres away..he saw us already, either we make a run or fight," Chandler muttered. Chandler did not have to think much that Dan would definitely want to fight, he was right.

Dan took out his shiny new sword, the one that Chandler gave him, "Fight..of course we will fight! Not only that..we would kill them!" Dan was determined.

Chandler smiled and nodded, together with Liz, Dan and Landon, Chandler ran off towards the two boys with their swords pointing towards them.

"Shwiss.." Dan missed when he tried to stab Zach, he turned around and saw Zach standing a few meters away from him, he gritted his teeth and ran towards him again but he still missed again. Dan is faster than most demon slayers but Zach had surpassed him by so much, even Dan could not run as fast as Zach. Zach was grinning and his face sparkled with triumph.

Liz took out his sword and ran towards Nate who was just standing there with his hands in his pocket.

"They are excellent..but the thing about them is that they are very proud so take advantage of that." Chandler muttered to Liz and Landon just after Dan ran off.

Liz swung her sword at Nate who sidestep swiftly and swung his sword back to Liz who jumped up and landed on her feet. Liz ran towards Nate again and did the same thing as last time but this time, instead of running straight at Nate, she stepped to the left and moved the sword swiftly to Nate's stomach. Nate wasn't expecting this and had no time to dodge.

"Ah.." Nate cried out in pain when Liz stabbed him. Blood oozed out of his stomach and he clutched tightly, he fall down into the floor and Liz took this chance and swung it down at Nate but she hit the hard floor. Nate had disappeared into a white mist.

Liz grinned in delight and turn back to see Dan and Landon fighting Zach who was running everywhere. Zach wad moving so fast everything was a blur. Liz ran towards them and Zach almost stopped running when he saw that Nate was missing, he immediately disappeared.

"Whoa...that was awesome Liz!" Landon ran to Liz and complimented her.

Liz smiled in response and turned back to Dan and looked at him as if questioning him. Dan stared back at Liz as if he does not know what she as trying to say, they just stared at each other in silence.

"Guys, stop this..I'll explain everything that happened on the way back?.. Ok?..." Chandler finally broke the silence.

Landon shrugged and grinned after a while, he took out his enchanted sword that he grabbed from Lewis and said," You better be fast..we only need less a minute to get back."

Chandler stared at him as if he was insane and back to Liz and Dan who seems like they believe him.

"What?" Landon gave a snort, "Really..it can happen..want to try?" Landon grinned.

Chandler frowned back about to say no but he hesitated before replying, "Why not?"

"What?? You have a twin brother?" Landon screamed at Dan after Chandler got to the part of Lewis.

Dan jerked back and frowned, "Probably..but let Chandler continue okay?"

Chandler sighed and continued and told Liz and Landon everything that happened.

"So..that was Lewis..not you right? The one who attacked me and Liz?" Landon asked cautiously.

Dan rolled his eyes and replied, "Duh! Do the Dan you know attack you?"

Landon laughed and said, "Of course not! I was just..." He wanted to continue but the door burst opened and Ty stood there.

"So you were here! I..whatever..Rafe wants me to introduce you to a new guy here called..wait what your name?"Ty 'introduced' that new guy.

That guy looks kind of annoyed and said, "Hey..my name is Christopher but you can call me Chris."

"Landon, nice to meet you." Landon smiled.

"Liz," Liz looked over to Dan who was standing still and motionless and as white as a sheet.
