The evil twin

Chapter 9

"Okay..guys, there is a group of vampires that are killing humans and they if this goes on, the humans would just find out about them and us. I need you to put an end to it." Rafe had asked to meet the demon slayers and instructed them on what to do.

They nodded and left Rafe's study and to the weapons room where they kept all their weapons. Chandler looks a bit uncertain as they left the room-Dan has asked Rafe if Chandler could join them and be a demon slayer and Rafe agreed.

"Don't worry...we should be able to kill them easier and I will take care of you." Dan promised as he placed a comforting hand on Chandler's shoulder.

Chandler smiled a tight smile and he looks less worried.

They all portaled to the place where Rafe told them to and that's where all the vampires gathers and have a meeting or something. That place is a large cave and about probably like a hundred plus vampires can fit in to the cave. They silently slipped into the cave and crouched under a huge rock,

"What the hell? That's so many vampires! How on earth are we supposed to kill all of them?" Chandler whispered alarmed and worried.

"If you think that this is very hard...then go back and be a coward!" Lewis hissed at Chandler.

Dan was just about to reply when Landon cut in and nudge Dan, Landon was getting very frustrated with Lewis and Dan-for always fighting with each other. Dan frowned at Landon and pushed him lightly on his shoulder but since vampires have sharper hearing skills, they heard them.

The vampires turned their attention to the demon slayers and looked at the rock. Chandler tensed up and gone white while Landon signalled with his fingers-one, two, three. It was a fierce battle and pretty evenly matched.

They all charged at the vampires at the same time holding their swords in their hands, Chandler jumped up and swung his sword down at a vampire slicing through his head and into half. Something grabbed Chandler by his shoulders and flung him into the wall- the vampires were so strong and so fast that Chandler does not even have time to react. Chandler staggered and stood up facing ten pairs of bloody red eyes, he ran towards them with two swords each being held on different hands just slicing through the vampires.

Dan had just fought about seven vampires single-handed and he suddenly noticed that Chandler was missing. Dan looked around and since there were not that many vampires left, he decided to go nd find Chandler. Dan walked past a door and heard voices outside, he moved back and slowly and silently opened the door that leads to the back alley.

The vampires had chased Chandler all the way into the alley and Chandler had no where to go, he was stuck and vampires were creeping in on him about to pounce on him and all of a sudden, the vampires were cut into half and some with knifes poking through its body. Chandler heaved a sigh of relief, it was Dan.

"You alright?" Dan asked.

"Yeah..thanks for that," Chandler grinned and went to take his sword lying on the floor beside him. Chandler looked up to see a vampire behind Dan creeping up on him.

"Dan! Be care-" Chandler shouted but it was too late.

Dan heard Chandler but before he even had the chance to move a millimeter, Dan felt two sharp things poking into the back of his neck and he could feel the burning of the blood flowing down his neck. He felt faint and every thing around Dan stands to spin like crazy and before he knew it, he lost his balance and fell to the floor.

Chandler swallowed hard but still charge forward and swung his sword at that vampire aiming at its heart. Chandler turned and ran to Dan, Dan was lying motionless on the floor.

"Dan! Wake up!" Chandler shouted at Dan terrified, he pulled Dan to the side of the alley and noticed two marks at the back of his neck-just like the marks of the fangs of a vampire, but Dan did not move at all. Chandler could also feel Dan getting colder.
