Seven- Rebelliousness

It was the hardest thing I have ever had to do to keep the smile which was desperately tugging on my lips from escaping me.

"You two!" Ozias yelled, glaring at the two in the arms of Xavian. They were released from the hands of Xavian and stood up straight and proper as if nothing had just occurred. The girl straightened out her dress while the boy adjusted his vest.

Lavina turned back to us, an apologetic look on her face.

"I apologize for my children. My younger two can be such a handful," she said, embarrassment clear in her words. My own mother's eyes looked at me and I knew just what the next words that passed her lips would be.

"It's quite alright. We have our own handful of a daughter, don't we," she said, shooting me a warning look.

The three siblings came and stood next to their parents, the younger two still attempting to look proper and like nothing had happened.

"This is our oldest, Xavian, the next in line to the throne. Our daughter, Xiomara is our second child and lastly Raegar, our youngest," Ozias spoke, gesturing accordingly to his children.

Raegar, the youngest son, wore a simple charcoal gray vest and matching pants along with a black dress shirt under it. His eyes were the same dark purple, but his hair was the blonde color like his mothers. Though Raegar was the youngest and it showed in his facial features, he was at least as tall as his sister.

Xiomara shared the white gold hair as her mother and brother as well as the dark eyes. She looked like a younger version of her mother and honestly was very pretty. She looked around the same age as I did unlike her brother, Raegar, who looked younger. She wore a short gray dress that fit to her bust and upper waist and flowed down. It was simple and pretty.

Xavian was very handsome in person as I expected. His hair was similarly styled as it was in the picture, swept up and perfect. His attire was the same as his younger brother's but with a black vest and pants. Jaw wasn't soft but not sharp either, making it a perfect looking structure. I was sure when he was older it would become even more chiseled.

They greeted us with simple hellos before my extended family was introduced. Once introductions were complete, my mother turned to me with some sort of devious smile on her face.

"Luminara, would you like to show the princess and princes around the castle and grounds?" she asks. She knew I wouldn't want to, but in the presence of the Hellian king and queen she knew I could not refuse.

"Of course, mother," I said, giving her a look of annoyance while simultaneously looking innocent and sweet with a smile.

"If you don't mind, I would like Xavian to stay with us, as he is to learn all of the kingdoms and how to rule one day," Ozias spoke up. I must say, a slight relief washed over me.

"Oh that is no problem at all! I'm sure Xenophon would love the extra company wouldn't you dear?" Mom said looking at Dad, who gave a polite nod.

"Always willing to help teach the next generation," Dad spoke.

"Very well. Off you two go. Please, stay out of trouble," Lavina spoke to her children who gave her simple nods.

We walked off, and the first place I took them was outside. I preferred the grounds outside rather than the stone halls and fancy rooms of the inside.

"So you're the half human?" Xiomara's voice spoke from behind me.

"That's me," I replied flatly. Though I was proud of my parents and all, I hated that it was the first thing most people brought up when they met me.
