The next day I woke up with some excitement. I was excited to see Raegar again, who in one night had become a good friend I could relate to. I couldn't help but wonder if maybe I would connect with him in the future, as I still had two years before connections would even begin.

I also couldn't help but wonder what was with Xavian's looks from last night. He looked so angry at me and Raegar. What was his problem?

I got myself dressed in my black skinny jeans as my mother called them and a dark red v neck shirt that was a bit baggy on me. Slipping on some shoes, I made my way down to the breakfast table.

Everyone was sitting around and I noticed only one seat was open, between my mother and Xavian. I swallowed but walked up to the table and seated myself.

"Good morning, Mom," I said with a smile.

"Good morning, Sweetie," she replied as she took a bite of her breakfast. Down the table a few seats from me sat Raegar. I saw him lean forward and smile at me.

"Good morning to you too, Princess!" he yelled down the table at me, causing me to laugh along with Xiomara.

"Good morning, Prince Raegar! How did you sleep?" I asked in a loud tone.

"Very well, thank you for asking! How was your rest?" he yelled back.

"The same as yours!" I replied and laughed across to him.

"Alright, settle down," Dad said with a chuckle.

My cousins eyed me curiously and I shot them a smile and mouthed that I would tell them later.  Thora laughed and shook her head at me before returning back to her meal.

Throughout breakfast, Raegar and I would send glances and chuckles at each other, occasionally speaking loudly across the table.

"Alright, children. Time for school," Uncle Zor announced. Theo and Thora stood up and made their way out of the room.

"Oh!" Lavina said with a smile. "I forgot! Xavian, Raegar and Xiomara, you'll be attending school today. Because we are slightly educationally advanced, Raegar you'll be going to classes with Princess Luminara. Xia and Xavian, you'll be going with the grade above yourselves as well. The principal will meet you at the doors with students you'll be shadowing," Queen Lavina said.

"You're making us go to school?" Xavian said, sounding annoyed. "I'm sure I'd be much more educated here at the castle with you and King Xenophon," he said. His voice was deep for a teenager, but still smoother than an adults. It was actually kind of addicting to hear.

"Son, do not argue with your mother. This was pre-planned and you will go with the other's to school. It would be good for you as the future king to see the culture of Dyspherian schools," King Ozias spoke.

"Yes, Father," Xavian said, still sounding irritated.

Raegar came up to me, excitement plastered on his face.

"I get to spend all day with you! Aren't you excited to have me with you all day?" he asked.

"Just thrilled!" I faked sarcasm and we laughed together until everyone began to walk out of the house.

As we walked down the street, Raegar and I joked and laughed the whole way to the school. I didn't miss the irritated looks from Xavian though, which honestly put me off. Who put a stick into his wings?

When we got to the school, Mr. Viro was standing on the sidewalk waiting for us. Theo and Thora said a goodbye to Uncle Zor and he left, leaving my father, the Hellian royals, and myself with the principal.
