THEO WOKE up in peter's arms, inside of the unidentified space craft. she looked around, panicking a bit as she disassembled her helmet.
peter looked down and saw her panic-ridden face. he helped her up, making her look at him. "hey, hey, it's okay. look at me. it's okay." peter said, moving the hair out of her face. "im here, it'll be okay." he told her, leaning in and kissing her forehead gently.
theo steadied her breathing, holding onto peter. "where the hell are we, pete?" she asked quietly as she sat up a bit, looking around some more.
peter helped her stand up as he looked around as well. "it's the inside of the spaceship we were holding onto earlier. pretty cool, huh?" he asked as he geeked.
she looked at him, her eyebrows raised. "you're ridiculous, let's go find my dad." she said, getting on peter's back so he could swing them through the spacecraft.
peter swung through the ship from the ceiling to where tony stood behind a large piece of the ship, watching as the wizard was being torture by what looked like tiny spears.
the wizard's magic cloak hovered next to tony, who looked at it. "wow you're a seriously loyal piece of outerwear, aren't you?" tony said to the magic cloak.
peter glanced at me before we dropped down. "yeah, uh, speaking of loyalty..." peter said sheepishly as he dropped down in front of tony.
theo got off of peter, scratching the back of her neck as she waited for tony to start screaming at them.
tony looked at them, shaking his head. "what the-" he started, and theo put her hands up.
she shook her head. "dad, i know what you're gonna say." she started, ready to make up thousands of excuses.
tony pointed at them, his eyebrows furrowing. "you two should not be here." he said, getting frustrated with the two teens.
peter sighed, shaking his head. "i was gonna go home, and take theo with me, but-" peter started.
theo groaned. "technically it was peter's fault that i was here. i just passed out and woke up on the ship." she said, crossing her arms as she glanced at peter.
peter gasped, a look of hurt in his eyes. "you just threw me under the bus." peter said.
tony shook his head, waving his hands in front of him. "i don't wanna hear it." he told the two.
peter looked from theo to tony as he continued. "it was such a long way down and i just thought about you on the way..." peter trailed, sighing softly.
"now i gotta hear it."
"and i kinda stuck to the side of the ship. and this suit is ridiculously intuitive, by the way. so if anything, it's kinda your fault that we're here." peter said, talking with his hands before pointing at him.
theo let out a laugh before covering her mouth and slapping peter in the chest for what he just said.
tony stopped, looking peter straight in the face. "what did you just say?" he asked.
peter's eyes went wide and his face went red with embarrassment.
she looked from peter to her father, chuckling nervously. "he takes that back, but... but now we're here! we're here, um, here to help!" theo said, smiling awkwardly.
he looked at his daughter, eyes squinting. "yeah, where i don't want you to be." he said. he looked at the two kids, shaking his head. "this isn't coney island. this isn't a field trip. it's one-way ticket. you hear me?" my dad said.
he then looked at peter, glaring at him. "don't pretend like you thought this through. you could not have possibly thought this through." he accused, pointing at his chest.
peter shook his head. "i did think this through!" he countered.
"you could not have possibly thought this through."
peter sighed. "it's just .. you can't be a friendly neighborhood spider-man when there's no neighborhood." there was an awkward silence as theo and tony looked at each other. "okay. that didn't really make any sense, but you know what i'm trying to say." peter reasoned.
tony sighs shakily and pulls them both to the viewpoint of the torture. "we got a situation." my dad said. he pointed to the wizard who was being tortured. "see him down there? he's in trouble. what's your plan? go." tony said.
"um. okay, okay... uh..." peter mumbled, thinking of something, anything.
theo looked around, also trying to think of a smart plan.
then, peter's head perked up. "okay. did you ever see this really old movie, aliens?" he asked, and theo tried not to laugh.
after a while of convincing, tony finally decided to give it a try. tony was reluctant but at this point what did they have to lose?
"well, pete, you're so smart, i'll give you that." she whispered to peter as they hid while tony distracted maw.
he blushed and scratched the back of his neck. "that and i've seen a lot of movies." he told her, chuckling lowly.
theo watched her father for a signal and finally he nodded to her. "go!" she announced and teleported to an anchor point where she could hold on.
tony fired a rocket from his shoulder which pierced the side of the ship to maw's right and begins to suck everything out with depressurization, especially maw and his large objects.
doctor strange is pulled loose of his pinnings, loses the needles, but also heads for the hole, helpless to resist. the cape wraps around his arm and an anchor point, but the wizard slips loose and he keeps going.
theo groans and teleports to a closer anchor point, trying to bring the wizard toward her with her mind. she let out a scream of pain as it became too much.
peter soon helped by shooting a web strand at the wizard with one hand and holds onto a piece of the ship with the other.
suddenly the piece of the ship breaks, sending them both towards space when his iron spider suit's metal arms brace him to keep him from being sucked out. tony quickly sprays nanites onto the hole to plug it up.
theo hits the ground with a thud as she shrieks out in surprise. "well, that was definitely like aliens." she mumbles, rubbing her head.
