𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐄.
'𝐁𝐈𝐆 𝐄𝐆𝐎'PETER PULLED theo up from the ground, helping her regain balance. "told you it'd be like aliens." theo whispered to him.
he smirked a bit as they walked over to where the wizard and tony stood.
"hey, we haven't officially met." peter says as he goes to the magic cloak to shake its "hand" but the cloak ignored him. "cool." peter says, putting his hand down.
theo stood next to her dad, mirroring his stance by crossing her arms. she watched as the wizard they just saved walked around frantically.
"we've gotta turn this ship around." the wizard says, glancing at tony
tony rolls his eyes. "yeah. now he wants to run. great plan." he says, shaking his head.
"no, i want to protect the stone."
tony walks towards the expansive front view-port. theo followed closely, shaking her head at the wizard's ungratefulness.
"and i want you to thank us now. go ahead, i'm listening." her father told him. theo smirked a bit, watching the wizard.
the wizard looked at tony. "for what? nearly blasting me into space?" he scoffed.
"who just saved your magical ass? me!"
the wizard scoffed. "i seriously don't know how you fit your head into that helmet." he said.
"and i seriously don't know how you fit that ego into those tights." theo retorted lowly, walking away.
theo rolled her eyes, walking over to peter and looking at him, checking for tiny injuries. "how you feeling?" she asked, cupping his cheeks gently.
he shrugged. "well, i'm in space, so that's cool." he said, smiling at the girl in front of him.
she smiled and kissed his cheek gently, nudging his shoulder as she walked back over to tony.
"admit it. you should have ducked out when i told you to. i tried to bench you. you refused." tony argued with the man in front of him.
"unlike everyone else in your life, i don't work for you." the man argued back.
"and due to that fact, we're now in a flying doughnut billions of miles away from Earth with no backup."
theo looked at her father as she and peter raised their hands. "we're backup." peter told him.
tony looked at the two. "no. you two are stowaways." he says and points between him and strange. "the adults are talking." he told them.
theo scoffed. "yeah... adults." she says before rolling her eyes.
"i'm sorry, i'm confused as to the relationship here. wh– what are they, your wards?" the wizard asked, confused.
peter shook his head and walked up to him. "no.. i'm peter by the way." peter said, holding out his hand.
"doctor strange." he, doctor strange, said.
peter pulls his hand back. "oh, we're using our made-up names. um... i'm spider-man, then." peter then says.
theo laughed softly and walked up to doctor strange. "i'm theo. theo stark." she said, holding out her hand for the 'doctor' to shake.
strange looked at her, an interested look on his face. "oh, is your ego as big as his?" he asked, pointing to tony.
she shrugged, rolling her eyes. "oh, i don't know, all mighty master of mystic magic, is it?" she asked, crossing her arms.
"this ship is self-correcting its course. thing's on autopilot." tony interrupted
she walked back to peter, who was watching her. "you kinda do have an ego like your dad's, yknow that right?" he told her.
she let out a soft laugh, looking at peter. "yeah i know." she said as she stood next to him and looked out the window as her father and strange talked.
"alright, stark. we go to him. but you have to understand... if it comes to saving you or the kid or the time stone... i will not hesitate to let either of you die. i can't, because the fate of the universe depends on it." doctor strange told him.
theo scoffed. and she had a big ego?
"nice. good. moral compass. we're straight." tony said. he stepped over to peter. he then formally tapped each of peter's shoulders with the edge of his hand, dubbing him as is done at a knighting.
"alright, kid. you're an avenger now." tony sighs, turning away from him.
he comes over to theo, looking at her with soft eyes. "who am i kidding, you've been an avenger since you could walk." he joked softly, patting her shoulder before walking away.
peter looks at tony in disbelief, and then cycles through delight, satisfaction, pride and determination.
