The now on couple ate their breakfasts, they both felt like they were teenagers, smiling at each other ever couple seconds, giving each other blow kisses.
After breakfast Joyce and Jim went to the living room to watch some TV. Hopper hugged Joyce from the side as they watched TV together. Joyce got up " I am going to get water, do you want anything" she said, Hopper smiled and nodded at her. As she was at the hallway to the kitchen (the closer side of the living room) she felt weird, she felt like she just woke up from a nap. Joyce put her hand on the wall, she felt like she couldn't stand up by her own. And the last thing Joyce could remember was that the world was getting darker and she found her self at the floor self conscious.
After a while Hopper started getting a little worried, what took her so long, he was questioning him self. He got up and the second he stepped the hallway he saw Joyce on the ground. He ran to her "Joyce! Joyce! can you hear me?! Joyceeeee!" He was worried sick, he lifted Joyce up and ran to the car laying her down at the backseat "honey, Joyce! Please, please, please you can do this just hang on for a little longer we are almost to the hospital"
As they got the the hospital he ran to open the door of the side that Joyce was laying while he was screaming for doctors help. They brought Joyce to a room and put a gas mask on her face.
Hopper was walking back and forth, waiting for Joyce as the nurse got out of her room. "May I please learn your name and relation" the nurse asked "uhh.. Jim Hopper, Chief Jim Hopper I-I am her husband" he lied he knew he did, but at this age saying boyfriend didn't sound too good nor real. The nurse looked back at him " your wife is totally fine, from the symptoms that she told us-" "is-is she awake" he said cutting line of the nurse "as I said from the symptoms she told us it seems to be from excitement, she is totally fine aaaannd awake you may see her". Excitement, he knew exactly why she was excited.
Jim opened the door, seeing Joyce like that in a hospital gown with a serum on her arm made him want to cry. "Oh my lord, are you ok?" He said with a worried voice "I-I mean yeah I guess" she looked confused. Jim told her that it was because excitement and she was going to be released in an couple hours. They looked at each other for a while and Joyce started to play with Hoppers hair, he liked it.
He did really got scared for her.
