*two years later*

Salem was in awh, as she watched her boyfriend through the kitchen window, chase the young toddler around the backyard. She never seemed to get bored with Colby, he always managed to keep her on her toes. She never thought the day would come to where she would be in this deep for a boy she met at a party.

The two had always found a reason, from day one, to end up back with each other. It was supposed to be nothing but a one night stand, but somehow managed to turn into a "no feelings, just sex" relationship. Then from there on out, the two knew it was a pathetic excuse to keep each other close. Cole knew he wanted her around for a while, but now? boy, did he want to marry her and settle down. He was so ready to live life forever with Salem, and Salem was pretty much ready as well. But as usual, the two are gonna pussy out and wait for a few more years. That's just them, that's Cole and Salem for you. Calem, if you must.

Its crazy how everyone said, "you can't turn a one night stand into a relationship", and although they were beginning to believe that at one point, they came back from it. They made sure to prove to the public eye, and their friends/family, that they were in love. did they have to explain themselves? of course not, Colby hated that people doubted them. People doubted that he was capable of loving someone, and that he was capable of being loved. but salem loves him, Salem loves him so much that she would give her life up just so he can live, and that's trully beautiful.

"Whatcha cooking, good looking?", Colby sneaks up behind Salem, all sweaty and heavy breathing. He knew it would annoy her, but he did it anyway.

Salem let's out a small laugh, ignoring the fact that he was dripping in sweat from the heat. Salem's family and of course, Sam and Colby's , who had flown out to LA for an event the two had coming up, were scattered around her childhood home. She felt proud of herself that she had pulled this all together, she was waiting for their closest friends to show up, to seal the whole deal. Everyone needed a day off to relax, because they had all been so caught up in our jobs.

"you can't have any until it's done, go back outside and play with the kids. By the looks of it, you already made a new friend.", Colby childishly pouts as she sends him a way with her hand, but not without stealing a cucumber that she had just got done cutting up for the salads. But he did as she said and took his spot in the pool, with a small child attached to his hip, who would be known as Salem's cousin.

He had been thinking alot recently about kids, it was a soft spot for him to be honest. He just didn't know how to bring it up to Salem, they had only been together two and a half years officially, so it may have been to early in her eyes? But something told him he was ready to be a dad. He wanted Salem to be the mothet of his kids, nobody could ever be a more perfect mom than her.

But as usual, he stayed quiet and let the thoughts fade away as he pulled the small child around in a floaty, blushing as Salem's family members take pictures and make comments.

Colby knew deep down that when the time was right, it would happen. That's how their relationship happened, time. There is no reason to rush anything. because if the two rushed things, things wouldn't have turned out to be such a beautiful love story. of course they had many more years, this was just the beginning of their relationship. They would be together until the end, there was no doubt. But time was key. You can't rush love, love his no time limit. Love just happens, out of the blue. when you least expect it and when you least want it.

that's what made this special and oh how they've fucked up each other's word in the most, beautiful way ever.

This wasn't part of the deal... it was their main rule. they broke it. somehow in the middle of all the hookups, 3:00 a.m. conversations, the fights, everything. they had fallen in love. and they fell hard, so fucking hard in such a short amount of time.

"you can't turn a hookup into a relationship."

oh how they proved everyone wrong. Anything was possible with Salem and Colby.
