I pack the last tri-pod into my trunk before waving goodbye to everyone. It was eleven at night and I was exhausted. I had been at the same shoot all day for over twelve hours, because nothing had gone right with the client. first she forgot all of her outfits and jewelry at home, so she had to drive an hour and back to her place. A camera lense broke. I lost my glasses. Like just little things ruined my whole day.

I drive to the nearby chik fil a and take the time to check my phone since I'll be sitting here waiting for the line to move.

I ignore the text and clicked the notification, confused on why he's tagging me in things. We usually just send it through dms or showed me when we got together to hang out.

Everything moved in slow motion once I seen what the video was. He had edited a bunch of our videos together, some videos he had taken without me, and at the end it was a slow motion clip of us laughing at a very lame joke he had told. "Lose My Mind", by Lil Peep played over all the videos and the caption said, "such a blessing in disguise, we dont deserve you."

I didn't know Colby was romantic like that all, and I didn't know he was open to putting us out on a platform. I'm so amazed by this, I've never had someone film me before like Colby has. He always wanted to make memories and have it on record. This is by far the sweetest thing anyone has done, and it really warmed my heart. He was fucking perfect in every aspect.

I immidiately walked into my apartment, wasting no time when I pulled in, with a wide smile, knowing he'd be wondering what was up. I wanted to shower my boy in love.

"Colbyyyyy!", I sing throughout the quiet apartment. I can see the Postmates on the counter, along with his keys hanging up on the shelf beside the door. He was trying to be scary, and knowing him he will scare me. The kid can hide anywhere, he always finds a way.

"Colby, please don't do this. I brought you something!", it wasn't a tiny lie. I did bring him something... all this love.

lame, carry on. never say that again

Part of me had anxiety because i know he will jump at me, it could literally be out of nowhere. I hear something fall from my room, and immidiately know where he's at.

I tip toe into the room and decide to say something bold so that his prank backfires, "Andrea, Colby's not here. im gonna get Anon and bring him in. He can hide in my closet if Colby happens to come back."

believable, Andrea would know if I was cheating.

" What the fuck!", Colby angrily spits from underneath the bed, crawling out with a camera. I act like I've been caught, and slowly move my phone from my ear, "I'll call you back later. Colby is here."

Colby looks in disbelief from me to the phone, stepping closer so the camera is eye level with me, "Did I seriously just catch you cheating on me? On camera? I actually really don't know what the fuck to say right now."

He was actually really hot like this but it was starting to get good so I had to keep going, "Hey.. I didn't know you were here?"

"No shit. Who the fuck is waiting downstairs, what the fuck did I do to deserve this.", he pushes past me grabbing my keys off the counter. "Stop, Cole. It's none of your business. We aren't even officially together."

He rips his wrist from my grasp, setting the camera down on the counter, and throwing his hands up. His eyes had now turned a deep shade of blue, much different than his usual light blue ones,  "What the fuck do you mean it's none of my business, you are my girl. You just sleep around like it's nothing? I love you Salem, that really meant nothing? is this because of us being low-key, do you want to be shown off, because you know I would do it in a heartbeat."

i felt bad because he clearly has been worrying about those few things and not saying anything about it. He didn't just come up with that on spot. we will have to talk later.

"He doesn't mean anything Colby, he isn't you. I'll text him to get a Uber.", I try to keep a straight face as his breathing pattern quickens and his hands pull at his hair. Colby was pissed and I had to end it soon, I couldn't hold it in anymore.

His eyes widen at me before letting out a deep chuckle and look at the ground, "I'm gonna fuck him up."

I watch him take my keys off the counter, leaving my apartment without another word. I jump up and down clapping my hands before angling the camera under my chin, "Team Salem for the win. I got your ass so good Colby. You better leave this in and post this gosh dang video!"

I run down the halls, following him down the stairs, "Why do you have my camera?", he glares for a second before moving again. We had about another flight of stairs before we got to the garage.

"If you are gonna fight then it might as well be on video, to show you how crazy you are!"

" Crazy??? Are you kidding me, that's you! I haven't showed you crazy yet!"

"Well you are doing a bad job of hiding it right now, I told you it meant nothing."

Colby pushes the door open, causing it to hit the wall and echo throughout the parking garage. I zoom in on his face once I see that he's confused.

"You told him to leave, are you kidding me?" , Colby's hands shake and I notice his mild twitch. I really got him mad.

"Anwser me, Salem. What is the point of doing this? I don't get it, I can't even look at another girl, yet you planned to fuck a guy in the bed we sleep in.", I look down in disappointment. he was doing that thing where he full on stares into my soul and I cant even concentrate.

"i didn't tell him to leave.", I mutter, faking a guilty voice.

"Huh!?"

I straighten up boldly and point the camera at Cole, "I didn't tell him to leave... i told him... WELCOME TO THE PRANK WAR!"

his face softens before covering his face and engulfing me in a hug, " you got me fucking good, holy shit. I was so scared you left me for someone better. Please never scare me like that again."

I couldn't say anything because I was laughing so hard,

"Never bubba. I'm yours forever."
