The survivors (A warrior cats fanatic)

Chapter 7

Willowpaw's P.O.V.

I waited beside Ravenhope, Shadepaw, and her mentor Flamespirit, for the leaders to come out of Lightningstar's den. They were deciding the punishment for Hawkpaw, Russetcloud, Alderfoot, and Sunfall. 

"DawnClan, FireClan. We have made a decision about the punishment for Hawkpaw, Russetcloud, Alderfoot, and Sunfall. Bring them forward." Lightningstar announced.

I watched as Cloudclaw, Sanddapple, Windtail, Nightwish, and Lionstorm pushed the betrayers forward. I gasped as I realized that they were mainly our warriors.

Ivystar swished her tail, and they shoved them to the ground. "They will be scared on there back legs, so that if any of you see them in our territory, you will know to kill them."

"Your punishment, is exile. If we ever see you on our territory, you will die." Lightningstar leaped down with Ivystar, and walked over to Hawkpaw.

"You would of made an excellent warrior." She snarls as she drags her claw down his leg.

They move on to Russetcloud. "You should have been more loyal." He growls as he scars him.

They do that to Alderfoot, and Sunfall. "Flamespirit, Ravenhope, Shadepaw, and Willowpaw, bring them with us." Ivystar ordered as she walked out of camp. 

Flamespirit drags Sunfall, while Ravenhope takes Russetcloud. Shadepaw takes Alderfoot with Lightningstar, and I take Hawkpaw. We follow Ivystar to the edge of both territory's.

"Place them here." Lightningstar helped Shadepaw place Alderfoot beside Ivystar. Then, lets her go.

"Go, and never come back, if you want your life." Ivystar hissed as we let them go. Sunfall whispered something to them, and they nodded. Russetcloud, and Alderfoot race off with Hawkpaw.

"Go, Sunfall!" Ravenhope pleads.

"No. I will die to protect my Clan!" Sunfall pounces on Lightningstar, and bites down on his throat.

"No!" Ravenhope jumps, but is to late. "Murderer! Betrayer!" 

I run to Lightningstar, as the others fight off Sunfall. "Li-Lightningstar? Are you still alive?" I nudge him with my nose. He still doesn't respond. I look around, and see that Ivystar has killed Sunfall with the others.

"Ivystar, Ivystar. I don't think that Lightningstar is coming back." I whimper. She runs over to her fallen colleague.

"Lightningstar, may you have endless moons of rest, and hunting." Ivystar puts her mussel into his pelt. "Let's get his body back to your camp, Willowpaw, Ravenhope."

I face Ravenhope, and I see a look of horror on her face. She rushes over to her leaders body. "I'm so sorry. I should have killed him before he did that to you."

"Goodbye, Hawkpaw." I hear Shadepaw whisper.

"Was he your brother?" I ask.

"Yes." She sighs. "Unfortunately."

"Hey, I have two of them."

"Really. I only had him. And now he's gone."
